Appearance

Kiki appears as she would like to look. Friendly. She is almost always wearing a smile on her face and giving a wave to a passerby. She has long hair, having never had it cut, that runs down to about her lower back. It is straight and a sort of golden-brown color. Her eyes are a deep colored blue that matches the color of murky water more than it does the sky. She has a pale complexion and freckles scattered across her nose and cheeks. She is about 4'5" and weighs around 85lbs. She has a small frame of a body for a twelve year old and often can look like more of an eight year old.

Kiki only wears the best and nicest clothes. Her parents can't stand having to buy Capitol clothing, but Kiki won't go out of the house unless she has the best clothes. So she is always wearing the latest fashions and looking into the newest designs. For this reason, she can sometimes look a bit flashy or bright, especially around District 10. She also has a tendency to redesign and decorate her house. She likes having the best and most expensive items that make her house look new and modern.

Although Kiki appears to be a healthy little girl, her eating habits tend to tell otherwise. If you ever can't find Kiki just look in a kitchen or dining hall. She is always eating, whether it be fruits, vegetables, meats, or sweets. She is lucky to have inherited a good metabolism from her mother because it really is the only thing that is saving her from childhood diabetes. Because she eats alot, when she is unable to get access to food, she smokes. This is only every once and awhile, but it is a very hard habit to break and she always has a cigarette on hand. Usually she only has one smoke per week, though, as she really hates the taste of nicotine.

Personality

Kiki is about the kindest person you could ever meet. She is always caring and worrying about others rather than herself. Unless she gets involved in a fight over clothing, she is always trying to help out her friends at any cost. She values her life, yes, but she values her friends' lives more. Even the very few enemies she has she tends to help out when they need it.

Because Kiki is so helpful and young, it is easy to take advantage of her. She is easily persuaded and doesn't have the mental capacity to understand all the consequences of her actions. She does get offended or hurt by sharp words quite easily though, so those who want her help need to be gentle and act caring in order to gain her trust.

Kiki is very trustworthy. She will keep any secret at all costs and finish any task that you ask. If you want something done and done right, Kiki is the one to ask. Her trust extends only to those who have asked for it though and earned it as well. And once you cross her, she will never trust you again and you will never again gain her trust back. She is very offended by those who she finds are using her and can get a bit aggressive when she finds out you don't actually like her.

Kiki is a materialistic. She values clothing and fashion and design art very highly and often times makes sure to show off her flashy items. This is the only thing she may choose her friends over or be overly manipulated by. She also tends to unconsciously worship those who wear the nicest clothes. So the better you appear to her, the more rings you wear on your hands, the nicer clothes you show off, the better you style your hair, the more Kiki will listen to you. It can take some time for others to notice this pattern, but once it is discovered it can be used as a weapon against her and your enemies.

Kiki is peace loving. She hates fighting and will usually avoid drama if possible. She doesn't attempt to interfere in fights and arguments unless she feels it is required or it is possible that she can end the dispute. She never fights herself, and avoids those who want to pick a fight with her. Arguing is pointless to her and she doesn't really care about winning a debate, even if she feels she is right. She lets things be as they are unless it is harming a loved one or friend.

History

Kiki Henrietta Trubes was born to Kelly Olivander and Kyle Trubes in District 10. Her parents married shortly after her birth and lived and raised Kiki on a pig farm that her grandfather had owned. She grew up a farm girl but her parents soon found that Kiki disliked everything about farms except the animals. Soon Kiki took a liking to fashionable clothing and not the tomboy outfits she had originally been thrown into. Her parents were worried as she got older that she would never appreciate the farm life and leave them forever, but found they got lucky when she took a liking to the animals that they raised.

As Kiki grew older, her parents found that she was different than all the other children around District 10. She did almost everything she was told to do, insisting that everyone deserved to have their tasks fulfilled. They also found that she couldn't quite keep up in school with the others, and wasn't considered 'book smart.' Socially though, Kiki was fitting in quite well. She had plenty of friends and wasn't getting into too much trouble besides dirtying her clothing. She was a growing little girl with plenty of smiles to go around. They were happy and grateful for their daughter.

But as Kiki grew even older and was in school even longer, her parents started getting calls from the principal. Kiki was beginning to do all sorts of bad things. Lighting places on fire, kicking kids to the ground, stealing from other kids. giving kids test answers, etc. And each time, Kiki insisted that someone had needed her help and had asked her to help them by beating kids up or cheating on tests. They tried to tell her that she was being used, but Kiki never quite understood. She couldn't comprehend what evil was and her parents became frightened by this. Kiki wouldn't listen, she couldn't believe that evil existed in the acts she committed or the people she considered her friends.

And so, that is how Kiki grew up, thinking that no one was evil and everyone was a good person. She soon found that that wasn't the case. Later in that same year, her mother was killed in a fire. Kiki was young, but not completely clueless. Kiki soon heard that one of her 'friends' had started the fire, drunk. He had been partying that night and 'accidentally' started the fire that later killed her mother. Kiki was devastated. For almost a full year she talked to no one, trusted no one. Only her piglet, Jiggly, could comfort her. Jiggly was the only one that Kiki talked to for a full year. Jiggly was the only one she could trust to listen and keep secrets. Jiggly was the one who taught Kiki to love and trust and help again.

Now, everyday, Kiki visits Jiggly in her pen after-school. Her father hears the other children at school snicker at her and the teachers wonder what is wrong with her, but Kiki is completely oblivious. Even after the death of her mother, Kiki cannot fully grasp what evil is or what the world thinks of her. And she still is the nicest sweetest girl in the world, forgiving everyone, trusting everyone, and naive enough to believe it all.
