Devon looks pretty much like any other stem kid. He has olive skin that mimics the rest of his family's. He also gray eyes along with his black hair. His hair is straight for the most part. His eyes for the most part appear cold and uncaring.  

He also isn't really that thin.He's really a pretty lean kid but has a lot more muscle then most of the district kids. His body has a lot of scars on it from a couple of fights in the past. He isn’t really that much of a looker and he really doesn’t care about his looks. He figures he lives in district 12 why bother trying to look nice. 

Devon is a very percussive guy. He can talk his way out of almost any situation no matter how life threating it is (key word most he ain't no Peeta after all.) He tends to be very blunt whenever he speaks much to his own dismay. He is completely honest when he talks to people. Because of this when he kind of... Hates himself in a way. He thinks that he's an ass due to his honesty and he hates it simply because he honestly can't soften the blow of some (or any) of the things he says. 

Devon is a trader of sorts... Ok not of sorts he's just a trader. He spends a few hours a day at the Hob trading for things that his family needs. Though he doesn't really hunt. He used to just grab a few things at his house that no one there needed or wanted and traded that but after he got a few goats chickens and cows and because of that he was able to trade things such as meat, milk, cheese, and eggs. He's also an overly careful kind of guy as he is always carrying a knife hidden somewhere on his person. This isn't without reason though because few people have tried to kill him in the past during trades trying to what they came with and what Devon has on him.

Devon has a bit of a sarcastic nature to him as well. He tends to only use sarcasm around people whom he just can't stand. It doesn't really matter if it's because their stupid or because they are a complete ass he'll just do it to annoy them. Now of corse when this works he tends to have a blast messing with people but when it doesn't it ends badly, and by that I mean it just get boring.

Devon also has this belief that people should move on from their past and not let it control them. He sees some of the victors as weak for allowing the games to control them so. Now while in a normal person this would be a great thing, but with Devon it's his biggest and most glaring flaw. Why you may ask well because Devon has something in his past that is controlling him to this very day. What is this you ask well let's move on to that.

Devon was born on October 21st to Hevon and Dane Wright 18 years ago. 2 years later Devon's younger brother Leon was born. The 2 have always had a bit of a love hate relationship but hay they’re brothers so what did you expect. After 8 years of going hungry went by Devon said "I'm hungry" so grabbed a tee shirt that he hadn't worn in years, walked to the Hob, traded it for a chicken (already dead mind you) took it home, and ate it. Ya ya it may not be what you'd expect the beginning of a trader's back story to be but that's just how it happened. Not every back story can have an epic beginning.

Anyway Devon then kept trading over the years as his father worked in the mines and his mother worked on making clothing for the miners. Between the 3 of them the family's lives slowly became better. After a while Devon managed to bring home farm animals which gave them plunty of supplies such as fresh eggs, milk, cheese, and meat. Leon was the one who was put in charge of keeping the animals well feed and healthy. At this point everyone in someway helping the house was contributing in someway. Life at this point was great for the family, but in Dostroct twelve nothing ever stays good for long.

When Devon was around 14 he ended up in a trade with this one kid who kept itching himself for whatever reason. Devon couldn't quite get a good look at the kid because of how dark it was that night but his trade was good so at the moment that was all that mattered to him. He returned home and gave his mother everything to put away for the night and he then went to bed for the day. A few days later Devon noticed red bumps forming all over his body. He went home early that day and found that he had chicken pox and quickly realized he chought then from the kid from the other day and by the time he figured it out he had given it to the rest of the family. Now while Devon and Leon were young at the time and was not really that endanger and Dean had chicken pox as a kid and was perfectly fine Hevon was in trouble. She never had Chicken pox as a child and if you know anything about Chicken Pox you'd know that that's not safe for an adult to have. 

Hevon died over the course of 5 days and she suffered greatly over that time period. No matter how hard Devon tried he couldn't trade for any medicine to help his sick mother. No one really wanted to go around a sick child. No matter how hard Devon tried he could not save his mom but even in the most despreat the situation seemed he always belived that he could save Haven. Sadly for him, he couldn't. Devon in the end blamed himself for his mother's Death even though no one else did. 

For the next month the family forced themselves through every little activity with a somber look in their eyes. While Leon and their father at one point managed to move on Devon has yet to. He says and honestly believes that he's moved on but in reality he hasn't. In reality he is controlled by that one moment in time. His bluntness, his extremely honest attitude, his scarscasticness with people he hates, his persuasiveness, and even his calefulness all came from this one moment in time. Devon clams that those who can't move on from the past is weak, but if that's the case he's truly the weakest of them all.
