Appearance:

Alena has the normal Seam look. She has dark brown hair, and grey eyes that have a blueish tint to them. Alena is slim and well muscled. She stand at about 5' 3". Her legs are long but have scars on them. She has an olive skin tone. Her eyes are expressionate and bright. Alena's hands are also scarred from years of hard work growing up the the poorest district. Her dark hair has a wave too it and goes down to a bit below her shoulders. She's very light weigh from lack of food, and she also has a scar on the back of her neck from an unfortunate accident.

Personality:

Alena is very motivated and a hard worker as she's had to be because of her hard life in District 12. She has has an attitude of life can't be trusted and believes others can't be relied on for anything for they will always let you down or stab you in the back. Alena can be unforgiving, resentful, and spiteful. She always seems very distant and doesn't like to let others get close to her. Alena is very mature for her age and doesn't like any nonscence. She can be pessimistic although she calls it being practical and realistic. Alena is responsible and self-directed and independent. She seems insensitive but she really just doesn't want to be involved in peoples problems whe she knows of people who suffer even more. When Alena does have something to say she is always sincere. She is suspicious and always questioning the motives of others. She is very clear mind and is always focused on a goal. She is a smart girl and very insightful. If you can ever get though Alena's icy wall and get her to trust you she will prove to be fiercely loyal and will always have your back.

History:
Alena lives with her father only. Her mother died shortly after giving birth to her and her older sister got ill and died when Alena was 10 years old. Alena and her sister were very close so losing her sister was a devastation. Alena and her father have a very stressful realationship. Her father blames Alena for her mother's death. Alena's sister Ilona on the other hand loved her very much and took the place of her mother, and basically raised her. As a child Alena never understood why her father seemed to hate her. Her nights were spent crying herself to sleep. Alena is often on her own as her father works in the coal mines 12 hours a day. She has recieve scars from burns, punishment from her father, and a accident that occured when she was 4 and Ilona was 8. The scars are not only on her skin but in her mind. Alena works odd jobs for other people to earn a little money to stay alive. She also knows how to hunt very well as she has had to illegaly do so on capital land to keep from starving as her father refuses to feed her anywhere near enough. Her father has told her before he hopes she gets picked for the Hunger Games so she can suffer for 'killing her mother'. Ilona had told Alena that she didn't kill their mother but Alena is in doubt after hearing her father scream it at her so often. Alena has lead a hard life in the Seam and has considered trying to run away.
