• Painfully skinny and malnourished with protruding ribs and bony limbs.
• Sandy blonde hair, always messy and matted with dirt.
• Wide-set eyes, icy blue in color, long lashes.
• Button nose, well-crafted, elegant features that suggest a higher social class than his current one.
• Constantly dirty, face smeared with dirt and grime, dirt under his nails.
• Mouth full of cavities and yellowed teeth, although they aren't crooked.
• Wears what are basically rags, threadbare, worn clothes that no amount of washing can cleanse the dirt from. Fond of hats. Prefers to not wear shoes except in the dead of winter.

• Spunky spitfire street rat.
• Doesn't know fear, a daredevil in the extreme who will do anything for fun, including getting himself into sticky situations on a regular basis.
• Fancies himself king of the slums, walks with a swag that most adults can't even muster.
• Has a pack of stray dogs that follow him around like their pack leader. He calls them his children, has individually named each of them, and feeds them before he feeds himself. They're his only true friends.
• Shoots off his mouth regularly, has no filter, likes to pick fights with people bigger than him.

• Has an older sister, Eponine (16, played by Geebs eventually)
• Parents ran an alcohol smuggling ring, got caught and arrested, kids put into community home.
• Environment in community home was terrible, filthy and abusive.
• Eponine figured they had a better chance on the streets looking for shelter from their parents' old friends so they ran off, but no one would take them in.
• Currently homeless, pickpocketing, scamming and stealing to afford food.
• Fancies winning the Games and putting his sister up in a real nice house with servants and whatnot.
