Fawkes looks, in short, like a badass. He has darkly tanned, perpetually dirty skin and short spiky black hair. Thick dark eyebrows cast light shadows on his pretty hazel eyes and his strong jaw is always covered in stubble. Fawkes' ears are a little larger than normal and he often gets self conscious of them, letting his hair grow out to hide them; in the end he always chops it back short because the strands scratch his forehead.

Fawkes is a beast, his life of manual labour has made him extremely muscular, and his already 6'4 frame looks even more terrifying with 220lbs of muscle. He also has a vast amount of horrible burn scars stretching across his chest, back and arms from his work and hobbies. He has one huge tattoo that spans across his pecs, down his left arm and up the right side of his neck; a strange pattern of sickly black ink.

Fawkes can sometimes smell. He works all day, smokes, and always has a faint smell of melting plastic. Several girls have turned down his advances because of his smell, but he still does well enough not to pay too much attention to the problem.

Fawkes always wears similar clothes; a loose fitting light coloured t-shirt, dark jeans and his tattered leather jacket. He also wears a pair of grubby loafers that had once been his fathers.

||Personality||

Fawkes is well....fucked up. He's rude, and arrogant and selfish and has the shortest temper ever. He's annoyingly smart, and has a very black sense of humour. He's got bad self esteem and is extremely cynical about everything in life.

Deep down, beneath his asshole shell, Fawkes is hurting. He's so lonely that he can barely function, and hates himself for pushing everyone away. All his crazy antics are defenses to keep people at arms length. He's about six steps away from a full blown emotional melt down.

Fawkes loves cars, he's loved them all his life and is very very good with them. In fact, he is one of the best car repairmen in all of Panem. Whenever he feels particularly alienated, or is close to getting caught for what he is, he throws himself into his work. It acts as a sort of outlet, something inhuman to take his pain and rage.

Fawkes also has some serious trust issues, and it's not hard to know why. He goes around, throwing himself into bed with girls he doesn't know, treating them horribly and then gets hurt when they dump him. He takes promiscuity to the extreme, and though he is a little rough around the edges, getting girls isn't too hard. They all think he's "Sexy as Hell."

Fawkes had a troubled childhood. His mother died of a nerve disease when he was six, and every day after that his father beat him. His fathers favorite brand of torture was fire, he would hold a flame to forks and knives and then press the scorching blade against Fawkes' skin. For the longest time Fawkes took the pain, assuming he deserved it, thinking that one day his father would stop, turn into a good person. Of course, that never happened.

When Fawkes turned thirteen, he had an epiphany. He didn't deserve this, he didn't have to act as a lighting rod for all his father's rage. He stood up to his father, fought back and before Fawkes knew what had happened his father lay dead on the floor with a white hot knife sizzling sickeningly in his chest.

Fawkes knew he had to get out of there, hide the evidence. With almost clinical precision, he pulled the knife out of his fathers corpse, cleaned it, put it away in the kitchen and walked out into the backyard. He took his fathers lighter and slowly set fire to key points of the house that had been his home since he was born.

When the flames had risen to a satisfying height, Fawkes jumped the backyard fence, walked a far ways away, bought a loaf of bread and then walked home to 'find' his home gone. The peacekeepers had told Fawkes that unless he had a family member to live with he would have to go to the community home. For Fawkes, this wasn't an option, he made up a lie about his grandmother who lived not far away, gathered his few salvageable things from the wreckage of his home and let the peacekeepers take him away.

The woman he told the peacekeepers was his grandmother, Kendra Willson, was not even close to related to him, but she had always been kind to Fawkes and sometimes would feed him or let him sleep on her couch when his father had been particularly cruel. She accepted Fawkes without hesitation, and he is the only person in the world that Fawkes trusts and loves completely. She is also the only person in the world who knows he killed his father.

After his fathers death, Fawkes developed an unhealthy relationship with fire, and when he feel particularly restless he will walk around the district, setting buildings, trees, trashcans or cars on fire with his father's old lighter and a big can of hairspray he stole from Kendra.
