Appearance:

Because Theodore was raised in District 2, he's not scrawny like some of the poorer Districts' residents. He is on the bulky side, though the muscle all evens out because he stands at 6'5"; not too tall, but not short. He has short blonde hair that grows at a small rate, which is why he hardly ever really cuts his hair. His eyes are a brilliant aquamarine blue, the same color as clear ocean water when you can see the sandy bottom. They always seems to be sparkling, aside from when his mood down spirals. Underneath his left eye is two dark spots; scars from when he was bitten by a snake there.

Personality:

Theodore is pretty much a living oxymoron. At times he can be very outgoing and love to talk to others, but then at other times he'll prefer to be by himself and stay quiet. However, most of the time he is not the latter. Theodore may be an annoying pain-in-the-neck, but when it all boils down, he can be a very sensitive guy. He has a weak spot for baby animals or wounded ones, taking them under his wing if need be and caring for them by using his medical knowledge.

In a group of friends, Theodore would be described as the glue that keeps everyone together. He never really talks negative about another person (unless he's really pissed at that person; but who wouldn't?), and he does enjoy giving compliments, even to strangers. If other people dislike him because of the way he acts, he usually forgets about them. No reason to change who he is just to please one person. Theo's always willing to play games, no matter how childish they are.

History:

Growing up in District 2 certainly had its perks: they didn't go hungry, their Tributes were usually Careers, and if you were in District 2, it was highly unlikely that you would be sick for long.

Theodore, from when he was able to walk, always shadowed his parents as they tended the sick and created new concoctions of medicine. As he grew older and learned his parents' techniques, he then began to help heal minor injuries -- with the supervision of his parents, of course. However, when Theodore was about 14 years old, while watching the Hunger Games on the family TV, he couldn't help but feel annoyed that the Careers always stuck together and left the others to fend for themselves. Why couldn't the Careers join up with some of the other Districts' Tributes? Was there something wrong with them? Confused, Theodore asked his parents, but they simply answered with "The other Districts aren't as privileged as we are". This statement drove Theodore crazy. Why weren't the other Districts as fortunate? He wanted to change that; he really wanted to change that. During the middle of the night, while hyped up on the idea that he could make a change in the other Districts, he slipped away and managed to get over the fence of District 2, heading out into the forest. About his 16th day in the wild, he was bitten by a snake underneath his left eye; but because of his medical knowledge, he was able to stop the venom from doing a lot of damage. However, because of the venom, it becomes hard to breathe whenever the air is cold. Almost as if he's having an asthma attack.

During the three years he's been out in the wild, he still frequently visits his home District, though he refuses to stay there for more than two weeks at a time.
