Arendar Araval Allessar
(Aren, Araval, Allesar)
Appearance:Upon accounting of Aren's features, you'll first and foremost notice his piercing eyes. They alone are a deep, exclusive shade of space-blue, found in only the deepest parts of galaxies long past in distance, and in individuality. Once drawn out by unconditional and controlling circumstances, a double pupil may appear in the left lens of his eye, closely mirroring its original. However, rarely on occasion has this happened consistently. His eyebrows are a medium shade of brown and are otherwise regular, although his facial hair (in which he shaves consistently) seems to be coming in blond at the bottom of his chin, brown above his upper lip and blond at the long arc of his jaw. The outline of his face presents a bold jaw structure, noticeable upon particular detail, but not out of a casual construction. He rarely has impurities due to his good hygiene, but he does have a few small scars. Yes, due to his hygiene, he does have decently white teeth. Scars can only be found if viewed up close; one is below his right eye, another on his left cheek, though again, it's a measure of difficultly to note or really find distracting in the norm. He has high cheekbones, though these are hard to point out unless he's eating or he wills his face to appear only a small measure wider. His nose is of medium shape and not unusually curved, though it does do well in fitting in with the rest of his features with its simple structure. His lips are small-medium and are a light shade of pink, complimenting his face in a casual way, not drawing too much attention unless otherwise used to convey such in gestures.
Long, individual strands of dirty-blond hair with some shades of oak brown cover the top of his head, boarding right above his eyebrows. He has bangs that flow in an angle, brushing off to his left in a sort of upside down scattered wave. On some occasions, he may choose to style it in a messy way, or even use jell to put it up. The back of his hair is parallel with the end of his ears, and to his sides, his hair leaves his ears exposed as it curves over the top of them and leaves a strand beside them. His complexion in general is a mild tan, while his physique is above an adequate build in muscle, as he weighs 160 pounds and maintains a well balance of physical exercise. He is tall for his age and will undoubtedly grow more, reaching 6ft in height, and some of this he accredits to his proper posture, always standing straight and appearing large. Often, his typical expressions convey a relaxed, thoughtful, or an unpredictable demeanor.
Most often, Aren is seen wearing dark colors or dark shades of colors, varying from black, red, blue, gray, and an exception of white. As a torso, he prefers to wear linen shirts, button shirts, v-necks, leather jackets, and wool coats. However, on some occasions he'll choose hooded sweaters and sleeved or short sleeved shirts. Particularly he wears jeans with a belt in the winter and comfortable shorts in the summer. He only wears suits on business occasions, as he's obliged to, but doesn't mind. Around his neck hangs a insignia or emblem of his household, also referred to as an heirloom. The token, a golden and silver phoenix in flight, looms inside a black, carved out decagon in a powerful stance that displays fierce influence to those drawing their eyes.
Personality:Araval presents a warm personality towards friends and family, displaying confidence and wisdom to those around him. He is open to most things and ideas in life, and has a wide sense of humor. Towards acquaintances, through his careful judgment of character does he determine whether to only extend casual and conservative manners, or an appeal of kindness. With anyone he feels attached to by romantic interest, he tries his best to appear charming, though sometimes his usual confidence may fail him in doing so, and he is left in the quietness of his thoughts. Yet, contrary to that awkward stage, he can be quite the lady's man; yes lady's and not ladies. Concerning those of which he feels threatening or possessing some quality of malice, his demeanor can turn into a solid, poised behavior, his voice dignifying in many cases and bold. Although he himself does not always make the morally right decision, he draws a line in which separates himself from others who hold no bounds in their actions. Thoroughly, he considers many points of views, evaluating traits in people that seem to be positive influences in his own standing, and adopting these while adapting them to suit his own comfort.
In accordance to his motives, he can be relentless to achieve anything that he sets his mind to. As such, he's arduous. He'll take on adequate amounts of toil to overcome numerous obstacles that may becoming a concern in his immediate path. He finds strength in mental precision, the quality alone being the one thing he finds to be the most powerful about himself. Secondly, his discipline with his body has enabled him to use his structure to his advantage in most situations when convenient. Aren's movements are often agile as is his ever flowing mind. Nonetheless, although he presents careful behavior, he may take risky gambles when testing his knowledge in actions, even after elaborate evaluation beforehand. This can occasionally land him in notable risk. One thing to accredit Aren with on the contrary to finding himself in trouble, is his impressive acting ability and wit to come up with quick solutions. He can be a very cunning liar, and can act or tell his way out of troublesome scenarios. If faced in a physical issue, he will fight his way out - full force if necessary, but at a certain cost. He aims to use self-defense, but that tactic could easily switch to a solid offense if he deems it appropriate.
Singing is a natural talent in which he inherited from both parents, his father having a more deep and powerful voice; while his mother had a very elegant, heart-stopping one. His own voice is a variation through his ability to hit high notes or low ones, and he often sings melodies in his spare time; typically in the company of close friends, relatives, or alone in his own content.
Aren's love for life makes him weak in the eyes of others, specifically other politicians unlike his father, and the sons of which deem him an enemy. This is because he's sympathetic to most situations, although sometimes he'd rather keep this to himself. He has little wish to become physically involved or abusive with his mental, physical, or political power in a broad spectrum, but he will do what he feels he has to if the matter is of great importance. Being overly paranoid may cause him to have trust issues, and from the indication of his past, he may set up emotional walls or boundaries to protect himself from others, even if they may actually be trying to help him. He barely believe in faith in any high power or at least not the current one, which puts him in a tough position under his fathers political power, though he supports him. Seeing as though most politicians are corrupt, he feels that there's necessary reason to be hesitant on such support concerning others, though. Contrary to what many may believe when believing in higher faith, he accredits any true reward, whether it be wealth in knowledge or in economical status to hard earned, honest labor, as it should be and not from corruption with power or belief.
Arendar, when at his best is supportive to those around him, making an effort to be warm and preferably kind. He will try to be understanding and mindful to all factors in play that may effect others or himself, due to being open in general. On the other hand, he can be defiant, unreadable and unthinkable, mischievous and cunning. He may display morally good behavior in appropriate situations, but that doesn't mean that he can't be harsh in his actions. In dire situations, this may be regardless of the negative consequences his actions may result in if he's poised with no other positive or dismissive options, as a last resort.
History:Aren was born into a prominent family, who had worked its way to the top of the social and economic ladder after generations of arduous effort to do so. The head of the Allessar family, for Altar Allessar was the first in line to succeed his own father, celebrated the birth of the newborn heir during the era of the 44th Hunger Games, a time in which life had begun to steadily rise in quality to the clan. In previous years, Altar had worked his way up as a business man, and was later able to start his own company due to his eloquence and acceleration in his career, naming the company after the prestigious clan. In time, Altar even became a renown entrepreneur, buying and refurbishing property into a new, grand state when he could, though instances like these were rare. Thus, with both ties to important infrastructures and business, he became a political man. His brothers, Roin and Cadren, had started their own families in Districts like Four and Eight, where they supplied Altar with fresh supplies of seafood from the coast, and textiles from the fields, marketing his business and helping to build up.
Altar, who in the year of the 35th Hunger Games, had caught a severe sickness, was quickly rushed to the medical center of the District, certain that he would soon pass from this world at the seriousness of his fatal condition. His blood had ceased to pump properly, and most doctors seemed to agree that the man would only suffer if they had him live longer. Yet, there was one doctor who refused to give up on this man, who even then while in serious pain, wouldn't allow himself to give up for the fight of his life. Enelye Enamiel, using the remedies of the medical school in which had trained her from her previous city in District Six, cured Altar's fatal condition, thus rivaling the efforts of all the fellow doctors on the procedure, who had failed where she had succeeded. Altar, who was forever grateful and perplexed by the genius and spiritual aura of Enelye, couldn't resist falling in love over the course of many years of getting closer in their inevitable relationship, as his feelings were mutual. They were soon wedded on a summer evening only a week after Enelye's promotion to a head medic of the facility, and nine months later, created a paragon of a legacy, naming their son Arendar.
Growing up into a political family and a medically conscious one, too, Aren received hands on training of the process of business and techniques in medicine. He learned how to speak eloquently, like his father, and how to present a manner of professionalism. Equally so, he was taught how to work the market of business, and what decisions to make in the industry, what to avoid consolidating on. Under his mothers watchful eye, she instructed him on remedies as she had been taught, though he had a lot to learn to ever come near the feats that his mother could accomplish in a single night. At best, he could diagnose specific symptoms, and knew the remedies of how to heal each condition, but had barely any experience performing the procedures needed to do so, and as such was restrained. Altar took Aren with him to work each day after receiving his education in a top private school with soaring scores. The CEO introduced him to his staff, though he politely called some top employees his "co-workers", as many of them had grown to be friends, and genuinely warm people. He also let Aren sit in on meetings to observe measures that took place in the company, allowing in time for his son to make suggestions, and if the others found his insight benefiting, they employed and used it. Some politicians disapproved of Aren's involved notions, thinking him to be too young, however they felt inclined by his work to allow him to remain on council of meetings. Connections concerning Aren and others in the industry were made by meeting officials, other politicians, and rarely; even government representatives.
From a young age, his upbringing in maturing was filled with physical strife. His father had him taught in a form of sacred martial arts in order to preserve his safety, should he ever face a problem. What Altar didn't expect was for his son to excel in many of the multiple techniques he instructed him on, for Arendar had always been eloquent with words, but in the arena too seemed extraordinary. The halberd was always his preferred choice of weapon, the very family emblem in which had long been passed down from father to son becoming part of his possessions with his sixteenth birthday, as to the tradition. This emblem was of course the poised phoenix inside the black decagon. Although he favored long-range weapons in order to face multiple opponents easily with techniques that typically by far outclassed that of the blade; he could handle himself with a sword as well, should it come to it, though he felt slightly more vulnerable to attacks in close combat with blades. The bow an arrow provided a more sense of opportune, as he could pierce enemies from afar, or up close with the arrow if they came near.
Emotional trauma had it's effects on Aren throughout his childhood, who willed himself to grow up quickly beside the guiding of his father and mother; both of which very much involved in their present society. He watched as his father ran a company in political endeavors, becoming more powerful, although he held good intentions with purpose, but still being forced to make difficult decisions at times. With his mother, Aren knew how much she missed their family back in Six, and perhaps even more of how much she wants to make a large family of her own, but both scenarios were complicated.
When the family could afford to visit the rest of their loved ones elsewhere, which was practically never, Aren would always enjoy fishing with his uncle Roin, who showed him how to scale and gut a fish, and how to properly prepare it for eating. They used spears and strung poles to do this. Aren eagerly volunteered to go out to the port with his uncle and ravel some supplies on days of work, along with his father when he wasn't so busy. This, he enjoyed a lot more then the work his uncle Cadren had him do with making textiles, though he was equally fond of his uncle Cadren all the same, and knew that one day it might be important to learn the process of making textiles when he took over the family business. He also saw his cousins while staying in the separate districts due to his fathers business trips, and thus learned the importance of family in a wide spectrum. His mother's family, the Enamiel's, lived in District Six still and his mother often stated that they were very closely involved with the medical economy there, but remained in the District to preserve the wellness of their techniques. Enelye had chosen to branch off from the District and show her talents elsewhere.
Aren has experienced a broad handful of relationships with various girls, but only a select few were very noteworthy, and he feels that he merely gained experience through the other typical relationships, whereas he enjoyed life more when having a special partner by his side. At times, he'll use his charm to sway girls beside him, as he does enjoy the company of intelligent and attractive girls. He's a hell of a flirt, and his wit helps him with this admittedly. He believes in classically treating girls right, and he can be a sweetheart or a headstrong of a partner.
Although Aren found it important to be involved with all the work his family undertook, he found himself missing out a lot with the friends he had managed to gain while in school. Garen and Porfal in particular were perfect examples, who were his best friends among many other good ones. They often enlightened him in times of stress with their senses of humor and knew just how to make him laugh regardless of whatever mood he was in. They'd go on triple dates together with the most elegant girls, do the most daring things behind their parents backs (which, they decided was a family trait passed down from parent to offspring anyway, in their case), and would end up with the fondest memories after a complete day and night of being around each other. They were a trio since they were seven, and always found it necessary to meet up at least twice a week. Back in school, they had seen each other every day, but of course things had changed over the years. Now, they managed to hang out when they could afford to do so. Times were getting evenly tough, what with the pressure of The Reapings each year. They may have fathers in power of the District, but that doesn't mean that their names weren't put into the draw each year. So far, they had counted their luck right, but every year on the specific day before, they would band together in what could be the last time, just in case. Although Aren was worried about his two best friends (even more so then himself), he knew that it would take a lot to bring either one of them down. They all knew how to put up a fight, and not just a physical one. Throughout their young lives, even though they grew up in prominent families, they had experienced equal hardship with studies, with mental exhaustion from expectations, and even underground fights with other students who verbally and physically assaulted them concerning bad politics. Aren couldn't count how many underground fights they had gotten themselves into after school, always getting a private healing renewal session after the situation to cleanse all the minor bruises that could appear noticeable at home. Life kicked them around until they each got strong enough to kick back, together. Then, experiencing life in a new perspective, they gradually began to take care of themselves from previous experience. The trio mentally and physically got out into the world; maturing, and life and the trio never stopped kicking each other.
