Not Ready to Give Up... (Mrs.Breeze, closed)

I now announced the mandatory fight: Jestina Lelborne versus Blue Kilio
You may begin.
Once I announced the winner, the winner may do as they please.
Kill, leave and take the losers pack, whatever.
Begin.

She runs towards me. Guess I'm not going to get what I want. But then again, I never do.
She has a small hunting knife, and I begin to draw out my dagger, made specifically for this purpose.
I try to dodge her attack, but her her knife brushes my arm, giving me a shallow cut. It's not too painfull, and I can still fight, after all.
I'm not ready to give up. I lunge towards the girl, hoping for the best, expecting the worst.

She manages to trip me, but I'm on my feet quickly.
"I'm sorry, Blue," I say quietly. "I just want you to know that."
And I really, truely am sorry. For having to decrease her chances. For being just one more person to deal with. I hate it.
It's like... I'm an enemy.
But I jump forwards with my dagger anyways. Years of experiance in hunting has allowed me to be used to working with knifes.
I have to try to win.

Something hits my eye, and it begins to throb.
She's a fighter. That's for sure.
And the more I think about it, the more I realize I don't want to kill her. She probably has a family and friends, watching her, hating me. And I don't want them to hate me.
But I have to do this. The adreneline is coming. Assisting me, like it has in the past. A natural instinct of which I'm not sure to fear or love.
But it's not under my control anymore. And I jump forward, dagger in hand, knowing I have no choice anymore.

I cry out in pain as she hits my leg. I feel a crack, and then the blinding pain.
And then it dawns on me. I'm loosing.
Quickly, I fall on it, pull my pant leg up to my knee, and let the cool snow wash over it. The numbness is immediate.
I think of my mother right now. Watching me on screen, crying out, beggin me to win. I think of how hungry she is now that I can't earn the money for food. And it tugs at my heart, for I'm sure this girl is feeling the same way.
"Look," I say quietly as I stand, "I'm sorry, okay? But my mom's about to starve to death. I have to do this."
And, with tears streaming down my cheeks, not from pain but grief, I slowly stand and push myself to move forward, my knife targeting the girl.

I scream in pain as she cuts my torso deep.
"I'm sorry!" I say. "But it's not my fault! I'm not trying to take them away from you!"
The tears are coming heavily now as I grip my knife.
"I'm just like you," I say sadly. "I just want to go home!"
I don't want to kill her anymore. But I no longer have a choice.
"I really don't want to take them away from you," I say. "But my mom just can't starve."
Desperately, I attack again.

I declare this fight to have been won by Blue Kilio. She may do as she wishes to Jestina Lelborne: kill her, take her stuff, leave her, torture her. Whatever.

Noted that if she decides to leave Jestina alive for whatever reason, Jestina will still have her right leg broken in two places and a deep gash on her torso, among her other injuries. (This isn't to say that Blue is miraculously cured; she will have her injuries as well.)
