Follow Me, Kid [Bad Intentions/Akasha] *Blitz*

Running out of the Bloodbath like Akasha had done insured her survival. The blood coated on her was both of her own and from others. The damage she had taken was double of that from which she had done. However, the things she had grabbed were decent. Nothing that she had wanted to grab though. What she wanted was to kill. Her heart was pumping from the rush that battle had given her. All of that bloodshed and war. It gave her chills. The thought alone of those who gave their lives for her. By the time she left, several body parts had been severed. It simply made her want to return back to the Cornucopia to find them. To scavenge for what items that she could get. Possibly bandages or something of that sort.

Whatever her alliance did she would be content. Her body ached and told her to sit and rest. She wanted to sit and heal, but that would mark herself as a target. Besides, her alliance didn’t seem as if they wanted to do that. The aspect of these Games were for survival. Something she desperately wanted to do. The thought of going back home and meeting her brothers again. As a new person, as somebody other than Akasha. The crown that would sit upon her head if she had gone home. She would have changed and hopefully a little bit of humanity would remain once she was done.

Flashes of the animalistic instincts had shown through. With her hunger for blood and guts it would surely show more. That was something she would tackle later on. Her mind was more focused on her alliance members and her own well being over her personal issues. She had gotten a few shallow cuts on her right arm, a gash on her right calf, along with one on her neck, and lastly someone severed her left ear. In general she wasn’t that upset. Well, she was slightly upset. Upset at those who had targeted her. She would get her revenge soon enough, if they didn’t die before then.

Akasha turned back to her alliance members, she had found both of them and they were both safe. Her family was safe. She would protect them with her life. She simply had to. In order to survive that’s what she had to do. Eventually she would have to leave her family, to kill them or to leave them to be killed. Either way, she would let herself slip. She would eventually slip anyways. All Luciana had was a gash on her right bicep; while Sierra was worse off. She had been stabbed on her forearm with a few shallow cuts on her body. The injury that was most obvious was the gash on her cheek.

That’s when Akasha sighed and walked over to Sierra. Gently and carefully she brushed her thumb along the gash.Taking care not to harm her too much more. Her throat burned and to say something would injure it more so. Once she left the bloodbath, she had put her silk scarf around her neck. Not caring if it got bloody or not. It would still get bloody either way.She simply didn’t want her families to worry too much about her. There was no way she could cover up her severed ear, and so that was going to have to stay. She could hide her other injuries from them. Apparently, Sierra didn’t see her severed ear at that moment.

Later on while they were walking Sierra looked back while Akasha was messing around with the part of her hair where it had been cut off along with her ear. That’s when Sierra noticed it. ”Aka-” She looked at her. Not really knowing what to really think of it and neither did Aka. Sierra took a few deep breaths and smoothed her shirt. ”Aka, you- you’d look beautiful no matter what happened to your hair, you know that right?” For a moment Aka stared at Sierra in a sort of daze. It’s been so long since she last heard those words come out of somebody’s mouth. The last mouth that she had heard it come from was her brothers’. Even so that was when they were really young. Young enough that her mother and father were still around. It had been so long ago since they had last died.

After a moment or so of spacing off and thinking of the past Sierra spoke once again. Her voice so soft and unlike her own. Her own that had grown to sound hoarse and tight when her neck was damaged, but fine when she was perfectly okay. ”Thank you for- for looking out for me” Looking out for others is something that family does. She had known that for a while. She had actually been slightly overbearing with Muskox and Dhaval once or twice. It was something that had been woven into her DNA. Something that she hadn't really thought up until now. That’s when Sierra leaned over and game Luciana a small peck on her cheek. Akasha noticed that a small smile was upon Sierra’s lips.

It was just like old times. That’s when she noticed something. A soft rustling in the leaves. Maybe it was a small mutt, the wind or something else. They weren’t safe where they were at. ”I don’t feel very safe here, thought” Akasha agreed with Luciana and Sierra. Something wasn’t quite right. It was a little too eerie and slightly unnerving. They were being hunted, and she was one of the few who had known how to escape from a hunt. She had to run in order to remove her the attention from Sierra and Luciana. Quickly, Akasha leaning in close to Luciana’s ear and spoke in a tone of voice where she could hear her. ”We’re being followed, don’t worry. I’ll take them off of our scent and regroup with both of you later. Stay safe for me.”

Stepping away from Luciana, Akasha gave her a soft smile. She thought about telling Sierra, but the thought of doing such a thing brought possibilities to mind. Sierra was a brave girl, and she could hold her own. Akasha was strong and could hold her own too. Sierra would be fine. She was sure of it, and with that she walked off back into what she thought was the opposite direction from the noise. Surely the alliance whom had won the wealth would moving around. They had to be. Either that or Akasha could find items around that would help her in the long run. She would heal and become better. She wouldn’t let Dhaval and Muskox down. She wouldn’t let Sierra and Luciana down either. They were part of her family now, and if somebody messed with them. She would kill them back.

Walking several feet brought Akasha to a new part of the Arena. It was covered with giant spider webs in between trees hidden inside the fog. It was alright for sneaking around in if you knew where to go in and where to hide. Sticking down close to the ground was something to keep in mind. Knowing the surrounding was a good thing to keep in mind. She remembered how Muskox and Dhaval insisted that they play in the fog when they were younger when it came around. It allowed for some spots to become hiding spots. Akasha still stuck to her old hiding spots in order to try tricking Musk and Dhaval. At the beginning it worked, but later on they figured it out.

They were so strong and she knew that it was nothing to be concerned about it. Yet, she still found herself worrying over them when she should be worrying and focusing on herself. Her death was there in the arena but they still had quite a life ahead of them. They wouldn’t mind her being gone. They probably prefer it that way. Nobody to bug them about how they were eating. Nobody to be worried about. But she would leave them like their parents had done. She didn’t want to do that. She wanted to go back and see them. Spending time with them and being able to breathe. Breathe freely without worrying about dying or living. She would remain strong for them.

Wandering around, seemed to be something she had grown used to. The thing that startled her is that in her vision there were a few others. No matter how she squinted and attempted to figure out who they were she couldn’t. Approaching them could either spell her death or it could spell out her protection. Staying in the fog forever wasn’t a very good idea either. To go or to stay. Her heart told her to stay but her gut told her to go. That’s when one of the silhouettes moved around, and to her surprise she saw one missing an arm. Her stomach tightened. Hoping that she had lured away her hunter. In order to stay alive she had to keep moving forward. That’s what she did. She slowly crouched down into a lion like stance. The same one she took up in her Private Training Session and progressed forward. Keeping her teeth bared and preparing herself to attack.

Upon further investigation, Akasha decided to stand up and act like a normal human. She couldn’t help but look them over. Their damage was kept to a minimal, and she wasn’t exactly sure how to approach them. They were covered in blood. Something that she had just now realized that she had missed so very much. They were also wearing a wide range of armor. That was something she made a note of. They were surely the enemies to keep an eye out for. They had become their own little family. Much like how Luciana and Sierra were her family now. That’s when the only female of her group stood forward.
Akasha recognized her as the girl from D7, Yaa. Her name was relatively simple to remember. Among her was her district partner Deimos, and both male tribute from six and eight.

Yaa looked at Akasha. Akasha looked at Yaa. Either they would attack her or let her live. Yaa would be the first one to attack her. However, instead she pulled out a needle and thread. This made Akasha extremely suspicious of her. They weren’t going to attack her, but they were going to help her. That was something unusual. Akasha didn’t want the help. She was fine on her own. Granted, her body screamed at her every time she moved. It was mainly her right side and her throat. She was still able to attack at a moment’s notice if any of them pulled any funny stuff. She was strong. Strong enough to fight.

Akasha looked at those who stood in front of her suspiciously. They were her enemies, and she didn’t want the help. That’s when she slowly backed away from them. She thought of her own alliance, and she knew that she should head back. Besides, the spider web forest gave her chills. It wasn’t safe. After all, the creatures who had made the webs would soon be there. Spiders would soon be there. That was something she didn’t want to stay for. That’s when she realized that she had stepped back into a web. This wasn’t good at all. Akasha then started squirming. Trying to escape from her stick prison.

The spider webs were sticky. Akasha fought and fought to attempt to get out. She didn’t want to become lunch for a spider. Especially knowing how big they could possibly be. The Game Makers had done a really wonderful number this time. Putting that web right behind her. Allowing her to get trapped in their web. A web of lies. Something that she didn’t exactly approve of. She would still try to escape. That’s the best she could do at this moment. Escape and hope for the best.

She couldn't die this way. That would be letting down Muskox and Dhaval. To die by a spider. That was something she didn't want to do. She didn't want to let down her families. Sierra and Luciana. Her parents. Any of them. They would be upset if she stopped fighting. Fighting for her life. For her survival.

No. No.No.No! Akasha let out a low growl despite it hurting her throat. They would be coming soon. She had that feeling in her gut. She would survive. She could and would live. Live to see her family. What would Luciana and Sierra think if she didn't show up. They couldn't worry about her. They shouldn't. That wasn't an option for them to do. Akasha wouldn't allow it. She wouldn't allow anyone to do that.

That's why she fought harder so that they didn't have to worry any longer. No spiders would get her. THat she was for sure of.

Akasha sighed. She was getting sick and tired of moving around so much. It wasn’t helping no matter how hard she fought. She was the one who was hurt the most. She had a good chance of survival. Her wounds ached and she simply wanted to go back to her home. THat’s all she wanted. If others weren’t around she would probably cry. But she wasn’t that type of person. After all Andal and Mik were stuck with her. She wouldn’t die alone. She had to survive though. Somehow. Someway.
