The Vespoli family can be described, in simple terms, as hippies. They reside in an old, rotting, beached ship on the sandy shores of the ocean with no electricity or running water. They are survivors, fishing each and every day for their food, selling whatever extra they catch and using that money for pleasantries, foraging wherever they can, and basically live off the bare minimum but doing so with comfort and enjoyment. The collective feeling is that the world is theirs, despite the Capitol’s attempts at taming them, and that they don’t owe anything to anyone. Time is but a figment of the imagination to these children and they spend each day doing what they please.

But here’s the catch: outside of the boat is a garden (or what they like to call a “garden”). Some of the plants are used for some afternoon munchies or mixing leaves with water to give it flavor, but the cream of the crop is their patch of cannabis. It is the Vespoli family’s most prized possession and you can bet your very last dollar that each of the children use the plant for their own leisurely purposes and some have even begun to sell it for a little extra income to spend. Mama and Papa Vespoli’s philosophy was simply “do what you love and don’t let anyone or anything stop you” and the children hold close to that, not even letting the death of their parents stop them. It was some kind of overdose, but no one could figure out what exact drug it was – it doesn’t stop the Vespoli family, though, sticking to their beliefs and living each day as if they’re the only ones in the world.


Okay so that was an awful explanation but oh well. This plot is first come, first serve (since I can’t tell anyone no :b ), so if you see a name that you’d like to snatch then feel free to snag it. Ages will be sorted out later once we’ve got a grasp on who wants who. Also keep in mind that if anyone wants in and there are no more names we can just add more, this list is not set in stone, although Arx and Minie get first dibs cause I told them they could.
