It seemed I had offended him, or something, by staying silent because as I watched he turned from a drunk teenager to a drunk five year old within a couple moments. The amount of attitude in Joey's voice could pile up to a mound as high as the boy's knee, and I was as much annoyed as peeved at the tone he was taking with me. I suppose as a drunk everything was justified a whole lot easier than in regular consciousness. "Excuse me? No, Thank you? No introduction? Fine whatever. Just strum that guitar like someone who can't talk to people. Are you avoxed or something? Because I clearly can see you have a tongue." I snorted quietly at his badgering, finding I was amused by the small flood of obnoxious questions that had come from him. The smirk that followed his words seemed to obviously be bent on annoying people, but it just bemused me more. There was no way this boy knew how much he resembled an oversize toddler on a tantrum right now. I continued to stay quiet, having a feeling that he was going to continued what he must have thought was a horrible tirade, just wanting to see what would happen next. The boy crouched in front of me, like getting on the same eye-level with me would make that much difference when he had already been standing over me. I had to try my hardest not to laugh as his next words reached my ears. "You know what? Just sit there and be pretty, its obviously the only thing you're good at." Ah, so he was trying to be mister comedy. Well, two could play at that game. Still, though, it might be best to not engage in a war of wits with a drunk, who knew what might come of it. "Well, if that's all you wanted..." I couldn't help the sarcasm, it was my natural dialect at times, and this was no exception, "then thank you. As for an introduction, I won't give you the whole spiel, instead all you need to know is I'm Deimos." I returned his smirk with one of my own, thumbing the strings of my guitar as if in idle thought. A moment later I pretended to focus my gaze on him, "I suppose I'll take the 'sitting pretty' thing as a compliment, I'm sure you didn't mean it any other way." I would have grinned, but that would have given me away to much, instead I did exactly as he said, and I sat pretty.
