Today I had tried to work some blades. I had tried to show off a touch, flinging blades around. I had wanted to show people that I was not useless, that I could be deadly, deadlier than, I don’t know, than a raging cow? Anyway, I had flung around some stuff, in the hopes to make some impressions; instead I ended up nearly cutting my own head of my body. I have never had a thing with blade. They were just too deadly, something that I believed belonged in no one’s hands, today, I proved that. I had been flinging around one of the axes. I had been watching some of the careers, and Motel, the way they flung them things around, well they looked pretty bad ass. But the way I had flung the things around, I look nothing like a bad ass. I looked like a clown- just paint my afro bright yellow and give me a red nose and tada; you get a clown. Me.

Walking into the dining hall I hope that no one notices me. I didn’t want to put up with peoples laughter or snide remarks. I try to keep to the shadows of the room, slowly making my way towards the food. I was starving. I wanted to eat, but I don’t want to leave my shadows, fearing that someone would recognise me and my lovely behaviour today. My stomach began to growl, begging me to fill it with some food. I stare at the food, then at my stomach then at the food again. You had to eat, your stomach knows it, you know it. Taking one last glance around the shadows I sheltered in I take a pace into the light, hoping that no one would catch me, hoping that I would not hear a bark of laughter, hoping that no one recognised me from the little show that I put on earlier.
