Anthem - Day Three

A flash of red fireworks signals the anthem’s beginning as if in celebration, but you know in the back of your mind that there is little to celebrate. Seconds later, the seal of the Capitol spreads across the starry night sky as the anthem begins to play, and the sound is an upbeat tune – a new carnival version of the Capitol’s famous song. It sounds silly and taunting to your ears, but with no way to avoid the sound, you listen anyway.

When the music finally fades away, the faces of your fallen competitors flash across the sky:

President Snow, District Nine
Gale Hawthorne, District Twelve


Quick addition reveals that 9 tributes have already died, leaving 15 in the Arena to compete for victory. If you wish to survive, you still have to ensure the deaths of 14 others.

The seal fades, and the darkness of the night returns, leaving you nothing left to do but worry.
