Ryin Sileece | District 3 | DONE

Ryin has very dark brown, almost black hair. It flows down her back, but she loves to wear it in a pony-tail. She would be sure to wear it in a pony-tail if entered into The Hunger Games, simply for safety. Her eyes are a deep brown but lighten in the sunlight. When she is in bright light, a mass amount of freckles show on her cheeks. She wears glasses which are usually quite bulky, but she can see okay without them. She would definitely want to wear them if aiming a ranged weapon or the like.

She stands at 5 foot 7 and weighs about 130 pounds. Most of her weight is muscle, but she has a health amount of body fat. Ryin jogs around her District most of the week in fear that one day she too will need to be in shape for The Hunger Games.

If given the opportunity, Ryin would not hesitate to kill, but she would always regret doing so minutes after. She can adapt to survive with instincts, but would hate herself for it. This is why if Ryin were to ever be picked as Tribute, she would be devastated. Especially if she won. Ryin is not a killer, but she is a survivor. She is very knowledgeable with technology. She has a lot of experience dealing with technology, coming from District 3, but none with weapons such as blades or bows. If given the opportunity, Ryin would most likely choose a ranged weapon over a close-combat weapon, even without the experience with it.

Ryin has dealt with death in her life, but not with murder. If she were to be the one comitting the murder, for instance, in The Games, she would most certainly have a terrible case of PTSD. She wouldn't be able to take the life easily. It's almost impossible for her to see herself in The Games, and she hopes she never would have to. The fear in her is a major flaw to her self-esteem.

Overall, Ryin has a good self-esteem, but is humble about it. She will not brag over her skills with technology to anyone. She does, however, have a low self esteem when it comes to her appearance. Her self-image is below average, even though she is quite the looker to most men. This does not affect her overall ability to fight, but does affect her when trying to find love or friends.

Ryin has always dreamed of finding love, but it just never has come to her. She has had no boyfriends in her past and feels very alone most of the time. This does not stop her from being productive. She works for her father almost every day. Hands-on work with technology which makes her happy. It's a hobby for her, and she enjoys it.

From an early age, Ryin was taught about technology from her father. He would always explain the parts of what he was working on to her and even when she didn't understand, she would always listen. Eventually she started helping him with his work and she hopes to one day continue his legacy of working with technology. Her father is well known throughout District 3 for repairing technology and inventing new things. Ryin is proud to be his daughter.

After her early teen years, Ryin started to become quite lonely as she had never had any relationships in terms of boyfriends. She barely has had any in terms of regular friends either. She is what most people would call a 'loner'. She is nerdy, and always did well with any obstacles that required intelligence. This is why most people stayed away from her. She doesn't have much social skills and always speaks with technological jargon.

In the past few years, Ryin has jogged almost every day of the week for about an hour or two. She does not lift any weights, other than the metal and pieces of technology her father would ask her to move around while working. They could sometimes be heavy, but most of the time her father would do it. Ryin prepares herself every year before the Reaping by jogging extra, eating as healthy as possible as she can, and she tries to get as much nutrition as she can. Not only to look good if she was chosen as Tribute, but just so she can do well in the games overall.
