I Think I Found The Culprit :: [Cricket + Mystic]

My body and mind were one, I felt the stilness of an empty room, and the company of silence. I had awoke before dawn, with a goal in mind. I wanted to dance, my body had waited so long to practice its craft, I could wait no longer. When I enter the foreign training center I lay across the floor. pulling the tight muscles free of their stress. I hadn't practiced in relieve since my entry of the Capitol. I missed the pleasurable pull of a stretch. I stood, humming a song through the vibrations of my lips. I begin to lift my feet above my head, slowly working toward a lift from the earth. I start to glide through the space, I practice ariels, tumbles, turns, and leaps. I fumbled around, tediously plucking my next movement from my wide ranged dictionary. "Hello, dear" I hear. The voice of a women calls for me, the space was no longer at piece. I stop my movement and stare in the direction of sound. My eyes find a girl, It was Cricket, a victor of past years. What could she possibly want with me?"Hello, can I do something for you?" I ask.

Her fingers push into my joints, puling my further into the stretch. It was painful at first, but I could feel the extension of my body, the elasticity of my spine. I liked this further flexibility, this movement of my joints became much more comfortable. My weight was more evenly distributed. She seemed to know what she was doing, pulling my limbs in the direction that bests suits them. I wondered how she had so much experience, but I do remember this foreign word, "contortionist". I didn't know what it meant, bu it had something to do with flexibility. Perhaps she knew a lot about the body? "I think I could go further also." I say with confidence. The pull hurt, but it was a good pain. It was a sign of progress.
