Aquafina Zephyrllis | District 4 {FIN}

was never very fond of my name, Aquafina. It was something given to me in a state of delusion by my once dear mother. I could never forgive her for it, mostly due to the extended truth of telling people that would ask me for my name. Zephyr. I, personally, felt as though it fit my appearance and personality more. Unique. And while Aquafina is a rather unusual name, it definitely isn't a suitable one for a goddess of the sea, like me. To make matters worse, being the only one born to a family consisting of four other children, I was the odd one out with the messed up naming system my mother had invented all on her own.

I was one that was always prone to the taunting and teasing of the other children, whether it be at the academy or in general. My demeanor is held with confidence, letting no thunder clouds to cast upon my crystal clear ocean. I definitely am not how people would judge me on the normality of how I demonstrate myself to be. On the outside it is no mistake to take me as a competitive, arrogant career when it comes to training for the games. It is true, seeing as I was admitted into the academy at a very young age, it is expected to gain the mindset of one, and anything else isn't going to pass. On the hidden inside of my very being, I can become a raging storm, as though the violent waves from within vigorously bash themselves at the edge of a cliff and against the sandy shore of the beach. It was in these moments when I compete my best, perhaps it was the adrenaline of the moment that set me to do my best, but I couldn't seem to explain the reaction myself.

People tend to think of me as a carefree little wild card. I'm not one to live for anyone else, but myself, mainly for the sole purpose that when everything goes wrong, I'll only have myself to turn to. It was never in my true and pure nature to impress any single person, simply because I had no reason to. To me you have to accept me for who I am, and if that isn't something that one is capable of then move on. To other wanderers throughout the District, me and my group of friends are seen as the rambunctious group that seeks thrill and the chaos in everything. It was quite fun to pull a few nerves on the local citizens, however it was all for good laughs.

My skin has always been a natural bronze color. It was as though it was kissed by the sun for longer than necessary. People were always jealous of how tan I naturally was, but I personally didn't see it as anything special. My face is more rounded with the tip of my chin pointed lightly, it was proportionate to my body and that is something I am thankful for. My eyes. My eyes are the features that make my face so prominent and recognizable. The birthmark that rests in both Iris's on either side sends great hue changes within the inked hazel in them. From light to dark, they are seen as beautiful from others, however I never liked them that way, while others would kill to be able to have them.

The hair that lays upon my very head, carrying down to the mid way of my back, looks like waves that rolled from the sea, embedding itself and making me apart of it. My hair is naturally various shades of lighter brown and dark dirty-blonde, suiting my skin tone quite well, in my opinion. As for my build, I am around five feet and five inches tall, the average height for a developed girl. I may not be as muscular and masculine as the other career's that have trained their whole lives as well, but that doesn't make me any less of a force to be reckoned with.

Born into a family complete with four other siblings, I was always viewed as the baby girl, although I wasn't the youngest. Perhaps it was due to my childlike looks, or perhaps I just reminded everyone as the youngest, who knows for sure? My family wasn't necessarily considered wealthy beyond out wildest dreams, if even anything close it that. While we did have money, we were a little more than the average citizen. With this luxury each and everyone of my siblings, including me, were sent to the training academy everyday. There is where both my brightest and darkest days went on in life, seeing as I was there for a majority of it. I had changed my name to Zephyr, deriving from my last name, in place of the ugly ass Aquafina I was stuck with caused by my ridiculous mother. Here is the place where I became stronger, more opening to sacrifice, prideful and more confident. This place was like home, however the sea was my true home. The beckoning call of the pale blue, crystal waves as they splashed against the sandy beach shore set me into a spiritual state, one that I could only achieve in the company of my very own well being as I sit upon the the shore alone in my leisure.
