My sadness creeps into my eyes as watch the people I love taken away from me. First the one that used to be my sister but had transformed into something else, but had whispered my name as she had died. Then my brother, taken away from me by the peacekeepers of Panam for burning down a building and changing his name to Pyro. I remember the night Lily had died, Preston had stormed out the door, and Eva and I just stood there in shock. Later that night when he came back to us, my eyes were stained with tears and my heart ached from the loss of my sister.

What worried me though, was the burning passion blazing in Preston's eyes, and I understood it when I looked out the window and saw the fire being extinguished. The raging fire for Lily, my sister. The peacekeepers then came and took him away for questioning, but now, as the victor had been decided, I cry. I cry not because that the winner wasn't Lily. I cried because I will know never have the pleasure of stabbing a knife into Circe Lyon's eye. The killer of my sister.

Instead, the victor is a boy, just two years older than Lily from district eleven. His name is Kiritio. He won by murdering others for fun, while Lily had stayed pure and only had killed when her life had been in danger. She would have killed the two careers two, if not for the stupid girl with the knife. Soon though, after the boy comes around, flaunting his victory in front of all the families of the dead tributes, my lily will come home to me in a box instead of a crown.

Days have past and now it is time for the mandatory victory tour. My feet march slowly towards the area with Lily's face above it. Hovering, watching, her eyes still full of joy and life.

It takes everything I have not to break down into tears.

I had gone early, but the rest of my immediate family show up next to me. My mother and father have been crying. My sister, Eva, had been crying as well.
