CHRYSANTHEMUM SCHEHERAZADE
You recognise her face, but you do not remember how or why. It could just be that she"s a face in a crowd, but you do not see her straight faced and in a crowd. Instead you see her on a podium, shattered and broken from something. A victim. But no more is she in that podium. But now is part of a crowd.
Rush. Her name is Rush. But only the second part comes to mind. No one ever cares about the first when you have a surname. It's a dogtag that is welded to the chains that bind you. Something that you can never drop. And Rush number two's chains are newly forged. Many, many years until even a seance of rust appears.
But until then, she is merely a prisoner. Will you be her saviour?
You want nothing more than to walk over to her, and call, "Rush, isn't it?" But the words engraved into humans is not a parallel to the leaked ink words your eyes skim over as something you do to survive. Be you. A silent moment later is all that calms your heart. And she's in front of you, her back turned.
The ground trembles beneath your feet, except that is what your mind is screaming, but it,s screaming lies. A tent or twenty are on your left and right combined, but you do not leap into one to hide. Instead, you are focused. Your mouth opens, into an awkward grimace. "H.. Hey. Are you a Rush?"
