It is a fact that my name is Caroline, although most people just call me Lina. One false is that have not a single scar on my body. It's also a fact that I just turned eighteen years old. False: I am a girly girl. Last fact is that I am part of a very small family; just me and my dad. My mom is no longer in the picture since she's more interested in house hopping with the local men. My dad though, he's a great guy and such a strong role model both in mind and body and one day I'll make sure to make him proud. I am his daughter. His five foot seven daughter who has been training as a career since I could walk for these so called 'games'. My dad often says to me that looks will get you everything in life if your shallow and that's exactly why he doesn't allow mirrors in the house. He says that beauty is vain and being vain will cause you to be over confident of the external parts of your soul. It's whats inside that counts. He never fails to compliment my looks though. Poppa always says I have the brightest of blond hair and eyes that can stare down even the mightiest of creatures. It's my wish, and my fathers to bring a victory home. I will have that victory. Somehow. Someway. |
