oh the pains of being pure at heartmy name is harry benyon-smith, i'm an orphan. most orphans are pretty withdrawn and cold, but i'm probably one of the most trusting people you could meet. it's not a good trait to have, some would even say i'm naive. of course, don't mix up trusting with forgiving, or nice, because i wouldn't say i'm either of those. far from it. i have a really nasty streak to me, and you don't want to get on my bad side, because to be quite honest, i'll kick your ass.
i was told that i was a career prodigy, but lots of careers with raw potential get told that. prodigy and wonderkid are terms thrown around like knives in district two. i didn't believe it, well, i believed that i had natural talent, but that's nothing unless you shape it.
whatever talent i had is now gone.
i was taken in to a family of eight around about my seventeenth birthday - six other kids all around my age, all careers. oh and how i outshone them. how my new parents took to me. how those six children were sick with envy.
district two children are such jealous little creatures, so when i was sleeping, they tied me down and gagged me, and then they cut off the fingers on my dominant right hand. just because they could. made it look like i did it to myself, made it look like i was all drugged up, caught up in an accident whilst training high. my new parents, so disappointed, so confused.
i didn't do anything wrong, and now i have nothing
and now i'm gonna give my six siblings what they deserve
and i'm gonna make it look like a fucking accident too.
