Eyes. Eyes everywhere. Watching my every movement, my every breath. The trainers, the Gamemakers, the other tributes. I'm sure that the walls even have eyes. It's too much to take, too much to handle, so I leave. I leave before I can have some kind of attack. That would be all I need. I stumble my way away from all the eyes and finally find the dining area. No one. It's an off time so no one's here. No more eyes.

I can finally feel the breath returning back to my body.

There may be no one here, but there's enough food to feed an army. Looking at it makes me loose the appetite that I've just regained, so I settle for a glass of water instead. It's cool and refreshing as it hits my lips. It re-energizes every part of my body. I can feel my limbs coming back to me, one by one. First my toes, then my legs. And I don't want it to stop there so I grab another, and soon it's my torso, and just the tips of my fingers. But that's not enough, so I grab another, and another. I keep drinking more until I feel in control again. There must be seven, eight empty glasses scattered on the floor around me, but I don't care. Another glass finds it's way into my hands, but I don't drink it, I just hold onto it, letting it's cooling touch numb my hands. My back finds the wall, and I slowly slide my way down, peace finally finding it's way in. My eyes shut slowly, and I sit there, dreaming.

Of a different place. Of a different time.
