Anselm has worn knees on his jeans, his mind twitching from the prayers rattling from memory to mouth. His dark hair, long, hangs dark around his head like drapes of curtains, though in the sun of Ten is almost a blessing, the heat beating down. Around his neck hang a symbol, that of his life; a rat, on his hind legs. Ripred. He was the one Anselm lived for. He asked Anselm to protect, alongside Ansgar. A shield and a sword. Anselm is the shield; the last line of defence.

Hours and hours he and his brother watched the games. Learning how to fight, how to protect Ripred if anyone ever tried to attack him. Prayer fills his day, respect for his father. He's protective, looking after everything; it's all Ripred in His forms. He bonds heavily to all that trusts him, Ansgar is his closest, and only true trusted friend. He only trusts others when they put themselves at risk for a greater cause- more than themselves.

Anselm is 18 years old and he lives with his mother Mary and his twin brother, Ansgar. Both he and his brother have psychosis, which causes them to have delusions and hallucinations. They have made and stolen weapons which were found inside district ten, and trained themselves to use them from watching the games, though barely know how to use them.
