We are the ones who lived
We stood against the blades of those

Yet we are the ones who lived

Nearly ten years had passed since the last victor from district ten. Some people had given up hope of seeing another in their life time. As the 74th Hunger Games crept closer to the end, there were a few who wondered if perhaps it was Ten's time to shine again. Only, after viewing the strange and fervent manner of the newly crowned victor, perhaps some wonder if the district twelve girl might have been better winning. Ten years without victory might have been a fair price to pay for a victor that wasn't insane. Still, district ten was known for their worship of Ripred, and so a victor that served him so well might be just what they needed. Restore the faith, raise the people from their holes and give them peace, defend the name of Ripred. No one knew what the Todd boy would do next, how he would cope under the strain of seeing life after life extinguished.

He boards the train and stands solidly in the doors as the lights flash. The trip around Panem would begin soon, and with it he was sure a number of souls to be forgiven and saved. With a rat on his shoulder and a cat in his arms, he watches as the train doors slide shut and they begin to pull away.

Hey friends! Y'all know the drill with this. Scream at me and I'll write you down for a thread. I'm hoping to keep this a little more balanced out so I'm not drowning, which means I'm going to have to set a couple things down.

First, much as I love Capitolites and District Ten, I'm gonna have to ask that they take last priority as there will be much more opportunity to thread with them later on.

Second, I would like to try and limit threads to about say 3 at most in a district.

Third, let me know if you are good with blitzing, because that will aid me a lot in getting things done.
