Everything's in control.
Mother's face no longer lingers in the deep depth of my dreams and I haven't seen her with the whore in other a month. Everything's in control and with control comes tranquility - I haven't needed to watch another hooker drown in her own blood for a good while. I haven't felt the urge to take another victim for myself.
Perhaps I don't need to be the reaper anymore. No bloodied knife in my hand, no meat cleaver in the other, the closest semblance to a weapon I've held has been in the training center. With control comes the evaporation of hatred.
Perhaps that's not the case for everyone, perhaps that's not the face for Lavina.
