We Don't Have Magic Here {Gaby}

Sometimes, life throws you into difficult situations where you don't know what to do. This was definitely one of those situations for me. I was tossed into a death match. I was going to be fighting 23 other people in an event known as the Hunger Games. Unfortunately, only one will come out alive from this mess. That was the worst part, at least in my opinion.

I was in the training center, where we were supposed to learn things that would help us in the Hunger Games. Unfortunately, I've never really been a person that goes out in nature, so I'm not used to wilderness survival. Aliens are something I can fight. Other humans, not so much. I fight aliens on a daily basis back home, sometimes without any assistance. Though, this would be much different.

When I wandered around the training center, I eventually got over to the weapons. There knives lined up on a table, and targets positioned a little ways away for us to throw the knives at. I picked up one of the knives, aimed, and threw it at the target. It fell short, not even making it there. I sighed. This didn't seem like it would go over well.
