He knows everything.

Hushed tones and whispers were nothing compared to what he had found out. How could he trust anyone who held a big secret like his parents? How could he live with knowing about it all? The answer was in the silence that he kept from them all. All he wanted was to protect them. All he wanted was to live as a normal family.

With the secrets comes pain. When they broke his trust, his world shattered. Pieces strewn across the ground with the word illusion. It was all an illusion they created. It was all fake. He was fake. Everyone was fake. How does a person live in a world where you can't trust anyone? How can you live in a world where everyone in the end is going to stab you in the back and shriek with laughter? You don't.

He's been betrayed too many times. His parents, his friends, and past lovers all crushing him. As he watches Dakota do her own thing and Dahlia cook, his heart swells at the idea that they could be a truly normal family. That wasn't true. He knew of as many secrets as he could retain. Betrayal weighing his heart down.

"Can I.."

"No."

He's stern with his command. No one was allowed to shatter his perfect illusion, even if it was fake. Hushed whispers and silent secrets lie within their walls. All he wanted was to keep that illusion for as long as he possibly could before it's shattered again, with his heart and soul on the floor.

In the end, he would break like the illusion. That day would be when the truth is revealed, but some scars don't need to be shown.
