How to survive when everyone that surrounds you, is the same:

Testosterone filled masculine youths, their muscles make up for their lack of brains. Eight brothers, four older, four younger; they’re all the same in my eyes. Same appearance, same take on life, same routine. I am suffocating in a sea of clones. Maybe it’s Maybelline who could save me, my twin sister. No. She is just like every girl in the District, flaunting her behind to every passing male, it is excruciating to watch.

They don’t like me, my brothers, they prefer my sister. Something about me being a ”Stuck up, angry bitch.” Obviously they know nothing of my life; they are in denial that I am different to them. If only mother and father actually cared, if only they disciplined their ten children. At least I was able to discipline myself. Fine etiquette and manners, I at least use both my knife and fork at the table.

Everyone at the training centre is the same too.

Showing off their skills, exhibiting their measly muscles, no wonder a District Two victor has been scarce for a long time. Everyone in this District cares more about popularity than power. Power comes with popularity and it makes it last, unlike trying to seek it by making your breasts look bigger.

All I have to do is ignore the mild bullying from my siblings and others; it is just silly names after all.
I need to focus and ignore their irritable antics.
They can’t control me, I do as I wish.
No matter how hard my sister tries, I will not be sucked into her whoreish ideologies.

I am who I am, and I fight for myself, nobody else.
