Ajax "Sunshine" Lumiere // [District 1/CB 3]

It always seemed a little strange to me that in a family overflowing with blondes, I got the nickname "Sunshine". I was a pretty happy kid. Wouldn't you be if you were constantly showered in pointy gifts? I got my first pocketknife when I was five and graduated to a real sword when I was eight. I've always been gifted, even among my family. I'm compact and "wildly energetic" as one of the trainers once said. Mostly I feel lucky to have born into a family who gets me. Or at least, half a family, as it turns out.

Asha was surprise to me, but he wasn't to Adonis. My twin has been through some stuff and I try to be there for him but sometimes I just can't take it any more; I need to hit something. I hate to leave him at home but the training center is where my heart is. These days it's a little more difficult to do my reps and complete the circuit without someone being an asshole. Somehow in the last year I - and every other Lumiere - has become responsible for Asha, like we're supposed to care that he existed. As far as banter goes, I much prefer a witty pun any day.

When I'm not kicking ass training, you can find me doing the typical teenage girl stuff: shopping, hanging out with my loser friends, avoiding homework by doing literally anything else, even chores. I'm pretty content with my life; if I get into the Games, that'll be swell, but if I don't, life is good.

Maybe that's why they call me Sunshine.
