Honestly, you're not sure how your parents have managed to put up with them for as long as they have.

The Rathbones are unorthodox, dishonorable, and worse, uncouth. Sure, they might be among the few to match your family in status and wealth, but you've heard rumors, and not the flattering kind.

How anyone like them could even hope to be on the same level as you and your family is beyond you, honestly.

And besides, with the exception of that one guy you sometimes see in passing, you don't think you've ever met a single decent Rathbone in your life.

They irritate you to no end, but really, in the end, they are only pretenders.
