Her pale lips are as dextrous with their words as spiders are with their webs, weaving them together into sticky nets to see how many people she can catch. She could smile in Death's face and still tell it an illustrious story about one of the many lives she leads in her imagination. No one could explain why she lies, not even her father, a professional in the brain, or her mother who holds the same expertise in the heart. Spinning tales is just...part of her. It's not like she has any reason to cover the facts - her life is comfortable; she is loved by some and she loves some as well. But she adores the art in telling lies. Her words are drops of mercury as they form on her tongue, precious, shining, hypnotic. You would listen to her even though you know you shouldn't. And the glint in her brown eyes would tell you she knows it - but she feels the thrill that you do all the same.
