Chaos O'Hana

The past unravels, and the future succumbs from what it once was. Sorrow seeps, and pink dryness stains behind. Even if it was possible to retract what I have decided, I wouldn’t. Without a doubt Lightning would perform what he has again, as numerous times I promised of what will follow his stupidity- he did it anyways. Revenge will ensure the start of my depletion, all in wishful confidence that his breath will continue throughout the ages. He should have known, yet his anger responds at this consequence.

Final goodbyes kiss away the tears of my O’Hana clan, with a vow of our Brother’s protection. A salt licked atmosphere inhales through my nose in a last memory of our Home. The lifetime oath, that stands as my sole purpose, actions my legs to where I must journey. In this travel I’m forfeiting my obnoxious shelter upon the others with every step, though I’d do this for each of them in tenfolds. Unfortunately, this decision is pressing my function to it’s ultimate conclusion. Hopefully Lightning can reign my position among this Family past my casualty. Except for the duration of the day, I desire to forget all of these ideas.

Enough anguished emotions have plagued across these countless hours. What’s done, is done. And there’s no reversing any of these facts. Hostility continues to contort the expression on my Brother though, spiting what I did for him. I need a damn beer already! Steps breach me into our carry to the Capitol, and my gazing search couldn’t careless about the luxurious- aside from one in particular.

Permission isn’t sought, before I delve into the cart of various alcohols. Plus the others are still gently entering the train, and my patients is absent in waiting for approval. Beer refuses to grace my seek, but a stronger substance sings of more joys anyhow currently. After years of drinking, this has developed into my greatest talent- a couple of liquor beverages, then solely beer to keep the mood somewhat elegant while still highly entertaining. Unknown vodka, that must be expensive, gets poured into a cup with bubbly liquid to ease it down.

The aroma is divine, though it’s the influence I’m hungry for. As more gather within the transporting room, I subtly capture an inconspicuous chair to merge within the scenery- for now. Though within seconds of purely constant sips upon my drink, an urge to be social nags at my core.

“Anyone up for a drinking game?” I suggest immediately, recalling all of the numerous merry events I shared with fellow drunks. Laughs with another that’s intoxicated is truly the most enjoyable…though perhaps we’re not all here to cheers over our volunteering. “Unless y’all are gonna get straight into game talk… I’ll be over here celebrating what's to come.” Sarcasm and chuckles intuitively dance from my lips, as I savor another taste of my mixture.

For the first time, in a long time, his mother kissed him. Maybe it was due to grief, maybe it was just a goodbye but his family’s small intimacy has engraved itself in his mind; if only his twin kissed him, he’d have treasured that. He doesn’t know, his brother that Ronnie has volunteered for him. The voice in his head has been very conflicted about warning him of the dark presence that has shadowed the pair for a long time; but it doesn’t matter now. It doesn’t matter because that dark matter is going to follow him onto this train to Capitol and will most certainly be defeated.

How reminiscent it is, stepping on board a train; just two years ago he witnessed his cousin step on board. He never wished her good bye, why bother? She would not have returned a farewell to him on this day and it’s not like he is going to remake the mistakes she did in that swamp.

So many volunteered around him, he is unsure of who they are, their names a mystery to him and they will likely remain a mystery as he is has no ounce of effort to bother discovering exactly who they are. There are no pretty faces joining you Ronnie, just hope you’ll arrive to the Capitol to meet some. But the voice in his head is forgetting one person, Leon Krigel, the dynamite of victor perfection. Oh how he has admired the male on the television screens and alas, he’ll be sharing a train journey with him. There will be plenty of opportunities Ronnie. He might as well give it a shot, a single claim to fame he can hold if he pursues oh. Oh go on, do it!

And well it’s time, one foot before the other, up the steps and onto the carriage. A distinct scent of cooking food hits him immediately and his vision is met by the array of goods on a table, accompanied by a collection of bottled alcohol. I wonder if there are any hidden substances on this train. His cravings haven’t officially kicked in yet, but a single thought has begun to trigger them. Maybe he will be able to source something during this journey, anything.

Chucking himself onto a seat, he’d push a tray of macaroons across the table surface before resting his arms flat on top. He might as well get himself comfy. “Anyone up for a drinking game?” The offer is announced by one of the female volunteers, and it is an offer he very much wants to accept. Something about games strategy is followed but his mind wanders to the collection of bottles and decanters containing a variety of liquors that sit before him. ”Go on then, what game do you want to play?” He accepts the offer while being hypnotised by a decanter containing a dark mixture, he pours some of its contents into a glass of his own. He takes a sip, the liquid burning his throat as it sails down to his gut but he ignores it, raising his glass to the next person who steps on board.
