In Remembrance of the Fallen [A Note for Sib Tribs/Everyone]

The smallest of notes: I wanted to do something special because it is a quell, and because there are so many "sib tribs" these games, I thought it deserved a special celebration. Therefore I've decided Salome has it in her head to honor the dead, and what better way than to have a celebration the night before the games?

Perhaps it's been done, and perhaps you may not find it in character for your tribute. However, if you feel so inclined, anyone can join the Noche de los muertos celebration. I leave it open to become an unwieldy mess, though I’d argue that a celebration would likely become this. I’ve put up a post for those that wish to blitz and all be in the same location together. You may also reply to the thread or PM on slack if you feel like participating/have questions. Also, feel free to break off and have your own threads, if you wish. This would be set to take place likely just before the games.



PS – the tributes included here were what I could glean from all the tribs currently in the games, along with those from past games whose faceclaims I could track down. If I missed a character please forgive me as I’ve not meant to leave anyone out. I think all of your characters deserve mention, and if I you can always reach out so I can figure out how to add them! ^^

May I express my deepest condolences on all of your losses. This journey begins with two feet on the ground, but as long as we remain in some form—we live on. While we will be enemies in the days to come, do not let this change your present. I invite you to live in the moment, to become one with one another, and to give thanks to those that have come before us. May they never be forgotten; may we find one another on the journey yet to come. Join us on the roof to celebrate the dead, and to show them that for one night, you can live as though there is no tomorrow.
