It's as if I never volunteered to be here in the first place.
Another day inside these cold walls and preparation, here I am again letting dreamer girl take control of me, a body filled with blackness and controlled--for the time being--
Plants station, fingers are quick at work as they're putting together flowers of varying kinds--big, small, plain, colorful, edible, poisonous--into another circlet of satisfaction.
It feels like I'm not even fully here, like Salome Izar when she approached me in the dining hall yesterday.
Except, in my case, it's not because of an insufficiency of sleep, but because
She only focuses on what's in front of her, not the voices that speak to each other in the distance or the sounds of metal
as it's scraped across other metal. She only cares about her creations, about the feeling of softness across her tips and, soon enough, wrapping around her head. She's living out her sky and her ground in and on mine, the darkness is
She's become more powerful lately. It doesn't know how to run her off back into her own universe,
I deserve this, don't I?
The crown is complete, and with a pleasant rabbit tune from the burrow in-between grassy lips, I move it to sit atop my dark locks after a checkup.
