My hair is short and brown, only going down to my shoulder blades. It is usually straight, but sometimes my mother will let me use her hair stuff and I curl the ends. The ends of my hair are a little lighter than my base hair color, but it blends in well, not being noticed by most. They tend to stick out if I do not straighten them properly. My eyebrows are thin and a couple shades lighter then my base hair color. My eyebrows are also long, going out then gradually going inward to my nose. I have hair in between my eyebrows, but they are so light it blends in with my skin and nobody notices that I have a uni brow. My nose is quite big, almost taking up the most space on my face. It isn't long, but my nostrils look flared, but they go even more out when they flare. So it looks quite big. The tip of my nose is round, just like both of my parents. My lips are small and plump. I got that from my father actually, who has big lips. My lips are also a light shade of pink, blending really nicely with my skin.
I have a small body, only fitting into clothes that I wore when I was 12-13. I lost a lot of weight when my parents lost a huge portion of their money. My ribs can be seen from my chest, visible, but I am not skinny. I am not underweight, but I am sure damn close to being underweight. I stand at 5'4, no where near my brother's height of 5'8. I weigh 109 pounds, really close to being underweight. My parents also have lost weight, but I have lost like 24 pounds in the last 3 months from not eating a lot. My skin color is light tan, almost pale, but my skin has a little too much color in it to be called pale. My shoulders are usually slouched, so sometimes when I am walking and looking at something in my hand, it looks like I am sad. I have had multiple people coming up to me when I do that. I wear clothes that I have. I don't have a particular style. I wear whatever is given to me, because I try to work with the things I am given. It has worked from the start, so I can continue on with it.
I have always been a talker. It has just been in my nature. My parents call me charismatic, and I totally agree. I am also gregarious, I am fond of having company/friends around me. It makes me happy to know that I have someone to talk to. I can be very persuasive with my words, sometimes it fails, but that is usually not likely to happen, since I can make them see what I see. I like to get descriptive with my words, so people can really imagine what I am saying. That usually helps getting them to my side. A good appearance also helps turn them to your side, so I try my best to look great. It usually works out, but sometimes I have a thought, and it sounds good, and I do it. That turns out for the worst. I have fashion sense, but sometimes people (like me) wear a bad outfit choice. Even with clothes that are made for 12-13 year-old kids, If I have the right materials, I can make it work for me,
I am self-centered. I do tend to want to be in the spotlight, I try my hardest to keep it there, but with kids it hard to stop the spotlight from moving to another person. Sometimes people get fed up with me trying to keep the spotlight on me, but I try to use my talking skills. Then (hopefully) they return to being my friend. If that backfires, well then, they are a lost cause and I dump them in the loser section of the school. They usually return a day or so after that, and I welcome them back in with open arms, but they have been kicked out before and I won't be as lenient with them as I was when the first joined our group.
I am quite adaptable, I must say. When I first went into high school, I started in the bottom. I quickly got in the rhythm and climbed up the ranks. Then I moved to the middle class groups. It was quite easy for me to move through the ranks of the middle group, and after about a month in the middle group, I befriended a popular girl in school. I did piggyback her for a while, and soon enough I dumped her in the lower-popular crowd, while I was going through the middle-popular crowd. I have been at the top of the middle-popular crowd for about 5 months. I adapted in each group, getting to know people and soaring through the ranks.
I was the second kid born in my family. My brother, 18, was born 2 years before me, making me 16. I was a small, even as a baby. Growing up, almost everyone was bigger than me, I was really intimidated by them at that age. I was 3 when a girl around 4 started hitting me, and being this small, I wouldn't overpower her, so I bit her leg. I got in trouble, because there was no physical evidence of being hit or witnesses saying she hit me. You could clearly tell I bit her, so I was the one punished. Even at 3, I could tell my parents were disappointed in me. I tried my hardest after that day to not fight back, and that has worked out for me. I haven't got into fights, and my parents haven't made that disappointed face that really makes you feel guilty, since that day when I was 3.
When I was 8, my mother took me out to town. I haven't been to town before, the only place I have been is around my house and the school. The air was quite smokey and gray. Everyone was breathing fine, but the air did not agree with my lungs. I started coughing a lot, and at first my mother just patted my back, but I started to gasp for air, and my mother rushed my home quick. The air was just thin for my age. I did not go to that part of town until I was 10. My mother wanted to try it again, I still coughed, but I could breathe still. After that I went with my parents to town a little more often.
My first reaping was when I was 12. I had faith that I wasn't going to get reaped. My first reaping was for the 72nd games. Our tributes got far, but ultimately they met their fate at then end of a weapon. Just like every tribute that went into the games so far. All of them died. I really want someone from 5 to win this year the 76th. I hope it's just not me. I was really scared at my first reaping, even though I had faith. My name could still come out of that bowl. I was so thankful that it wasn't mine, because I wouldn't have survived in that arena.
When I was 14, I entered high school. I climbed up the social ladders, and close to the end the end of the year, I was close to being into the most popular crowd in school. When I was a sophomore, I climbed up a little, not going very far. I found it kind of hard to climb up the ladders now. The people were harder to impress. I moved up to like the most popular girl in my section when I was 16 (the age I am now). I got to the position a couple months ago. So far, I have made little improvement in my position. I hope that when I am a junior, I can move up to the most popular crowd in school.
