Urie Stark

It pretty simple. Each person is a blank slate when they're born. What they learn, what they become, it all depends on what they're taught. For example, say a kid is raised by a man who beats his wife and says its okay, the child will most likely do the same to its partner. Another example, say a family is strict and teaches that family above all is what matters. In the future their children will most likely choose family over everyone, even people they may love. Now, I say most likely because as with any statistic there are deviations, the outliers. Sure, its great when it happens and the child grows up not to be as terrible as its parents. At the end of the day, its rare. I want to be an outlier, but I'm not. I'm exactly what my parents produced, I'm their perfect creation. Allow me to explain.

My family is unique, just like all families are. We have a special trade like most and we embrace it. What's the trade? Poison. From the beginning the Starks have been a notorious poison producing family. How do we avoid arrest? We sell to the peace keepers that come from our District of course, apparently poison is precious to the President and his force of snakes in white. At first we were simply suppliers, produce and sell, we made quite the profit I'm told. Then came the demand for more, for masters of the poison, for assassins. My family in love with its fortune obliged and began training its newest crop of children not just how to produce poison but how to use it. Guess who was in that lucky bunch? If you guessed me great job you get a cookie, trust you can eat it? I wouldn't.

Here's another thing you should know about the Starks, we only watch out for ourselves, at least that's what I've been taught. Countless of times we have taken out families I thought were our friends, we do anything for the highest of buyers. In honesty, we're slaves of our trade. Oh, now I should probably explain how we also avoid arrest when we are poisoning people. Take another guess, yep you got it. We offer our children past reaping age to become peace keepers and ones who know how to use the poison we supply too. That's my destiny, my older sister and younger brother are the ones the family has chosen to stay and carry on the bloodline, me and the others are out when we hit Peace Keeping age. Can't wait.

Okay, I figure by this point you've noticed my attitude, not the best right? The thing is, I don't like my life, I don't like the trade. Already I've poisoned plenty of people, already I've tainted my skin in addition to career training. Why don't I stop? The answer to this is sickeningly simple, its all I know. I was trained for this, raised for this, I don't know any other life than this. When I say I'm trapped, I mean it, I have no other skills. I'm a poison producing killer destined to become a Peace Keeper, I'm not an outlier though I wish I was.

I know something I can do for you though, let me tell you what to watch out for in District Two. Us Starks have very specific features, in all honesty we are quite recognizable so I have no idea how we go about so undetected by our victims, I suppose our disguises help... Anyway, here are the common traits of a Stark. First, dark brown hair light brown eyes. Second, white skin and I mean white like talk about basically snowflakes. Third our small features, small nose, ears, mouth, and height. Guess we really do look like rats who slink around in the shadows.

Oh, I know something fun. I don't feel like killing you in the future so allow me to explain some specifics about my own looks so you can see me and run. To start, like my family I'm one small son of gun standing at 5'4 and weighing a total amount of 100 pounds. I know go me right? Lastly other than everything I've told you already I have some special marks on my arms. Needles, so many needles. I've become my family's favorite test subject for non-lethal non-paralytic poisons. I prefer not to talk about the excruciating pain I still wake up screaming about, sorry.

This is great, I bet you are having an amazing time right? Well we're going to keep on going anyway, let's have a look at my perfect personality. Hmm, I pick my clearly peachy personality right? Wrong. Yeah I'm pretty pessimistic giving the whole life sucks thing. You know, apparently having your life completely laid out for you with no room for alteration is a pretty depressing thing. I'm not depressed though don't get me wrong, I'm just not happy. I love life, just not the parts when I'm with my family.

Second fun fact about my personality: I'm sarcastic as shit, surprise! I'm pretty sure I have my upbringing to blame on this too. I find it easier just to be sarcastic about everything I say and do then to really deeply think about my problems. I did try that a few times... They weren't very pleasant experiences... Staying numb and bitter is just easier you know? Anyway, lets wrap this up.

Last of all that I'm willing to let you know about me is I'm actually a very curious kid. School intrigues me, things I can't understand interest me beyond belief. In a perfect world I could explore anywhere I wish and discover new revelations I've never dreamed of. But life isn't perfect, you and I both know that. I am what I learned. I am what they wanted me to become. I am Urie Stark, and a Stark is always a Stark.
