The Dark and the Light

In the c-box today, there was one point were virtually everybody was falling on top of each other and bawling their eyes out as the events of the Finale unfolded before our very eyes. Dru Charlesburg and Aranica Petros must fight. The outrage, it really is a tragedy.

I, the eternal optimist as you all know, shyly tried to convince Aya to let both girls win, using the basic argument that Dru and Aranica are two halves of a whole, and if one of them dies you're only going to get half a winner. Aya, did not buy it, but it really got me thinking.

Dru is the Dark to Aranica's Light. These girls are impossible people--an absolute monster and an absolute angel. Together though, they make sense and people find them relatable (sp?) as well as lovable. Their insanity, murderous tendencies and everything else put aside Dru and Ara are just a match made in heaven. They go together, creating a complex human being. This thread is a place where you can discuss this entity as a whole or dissect the separate halves of Druara or Dranica as they have come to be known.
