Shadows. I've lived my whole life in them.

The alleyways we grew up in. The cold winter nights when the freezing wind would bite at our necks, threatening us with a slow and painful death. The nights when we'd go hungry, when no one would give two pathetic looking children their leftovers. The nights where I wasn't able to sleep, because I swear I'd heard something and would stay on watch all night, because I couldn't let anyone hurt her.

And my sister's.

We were lucky enough to be found. Lucky enough told be told that we could be special.

And I believed them.

But here I am, still on the outside looking in. Longing that I could be a part of it, to be with my sister again.

So every day I find them, the ones that they can't, and I bring them to justice. They'll see it eventually. I know that one day-
