down the market path we go {lyndis} blitz

    

    The light breeze of the wind hits me. My body goes cold, and goosebumps begin to appear on my arms and legs. My father needed me to go to the market to get somethings for dinner. We didn't have much money, but we had enough to go get us some vegetables from to market. I walk down the dirt path to the market, sticks and leaves crunching under the weight of me.

    I reach my hands into my pocket, wanting to know how much we had so I didn't go over. I dig in my pocket, and I felt nothing but empty space. Space that should be filled by money. I turn around looking on the ground to see if I dropped the money. I race down the path, looking right and left, up and down for the money, then it hits me.

    I left it at home.

    I run down the path, wanting to get this over with. I don't really enjoy going to the market, as it is smelly and gross. I mean it is where the poor people shop, not trying to be rude or anything. In the horizon I can gently see the side of my house. 

    "Anagallis, did leave the money here?"

    I pray that she hears me.
