An infant so easily disposed of, like any broken machine in District Three. Just four years of her company and her father surrendered, he was never to be parent, not while he was alone. Left in the hands of strangers, another face to add to the pile of throw-aways. All brought up to be like on another. Same classes, same clothes and the same routines. Maths and technical skills drilled into her as soon as she could hold a pen, this wasn’t a life that her mind was taking her on.

Only a great escape to take her away from it all and that is what she has done, even though her body remains within the four walls, her mind has wandered. A new reality, a world designed by Vetra Blaise, where all her wishes come true. But only innocence is keeping it together, the power of youth that has built the foundations. How long will it stand? Adolescence is so close, and she can already feel the rumbling in the distance.
