When I walk through school all the kids stare, afraid to talk to me. They think I have pent up anger and I'm waiting to snap. It's a good assumption, but I'm not angry. They no longer look at me with pity, they're eyebrows perk with confusion. How can I walk through life with a smile on my face?

We've been losing to the games since before I was born. How am I supposed to feel sorry for the ones I never met? I'm only thirteen, how can you ask me to throw away all my good emotions for negative ones?

I'll admit, Gabriel hit close to home. But his reaping saved someone from our district. The 78th games was the first I was eligible for the reaping, so maybe it saved me. Then he went to the games, and he died. Because of him and the others, Stella gets to live. He saved her. So, no, I won't shed a tear. I'll applaud him.

I'm not apart of a winning family. We are meant to help others live. With this destiny, I expect to be chosen in my life time. I expect to die young, but I shall die a hero.

Because we are not losers. We are Messiahs.

Dark, they call me. I laugh, because they think they know me but they haven't scratched the surface.

My eyes are swamps, stormed by spring. Murky water meeting mud. My lashes have been torn away by the great gusts of wind that take down trees. My brows angle downward, encapsulating you into them. When you meet my gaze, you're stuck. You'll feel uneasy, and worried. I'll let you go with a kind grin spreading over my face before quickly reeling back in.

I cannot empathize. My mind rejects negativity. I can see what it's supposed to feel like to feel sad, and sometimes I fake it. If I'm at a funeral, or somewhere I think I'm supposed to be upset. But I am positive, even when the world tells me not be.

My skin is oiled over with a brown finish. It spreads tightly across my body causing my bones to give away their location by protruding sharply from my skin. My cheeks perk out and sliver seamlessly down into a pointed jaw. If you closed your eyes and brushed your fingers down my chest you'd count each rib. My skin is simply a thin leather armor for my bones, offering little protection.

People are curious as to why I cannot feel emotion, but they won't accept the answer that I can. I'm very excitable. I'm funny, at least people laugh when I crack jokes. I think because everyone else is depressed they don't accept hopeful emotions as valid.

My hair spirals from the center of my head, around and around, covering the outskirts of my face. It's contrasts my light brown skin with a brown mistaken for black. No, you can't see any of my black.

I feel many emotions. Curiosity floods my mind, often leading me to trouble. I'm impressionable and I allow people to feed off of it. I'm willing to learn. I love to think and to solve problems. I love noises: finger drumming, tap dancing, loud singing (good or bad, especially bad).

My lips are so close in color to my skin that it's hard to tell where they start. They have a grand presence on my face, spreading far across. My cheeks parts around them, creating deep dimples. My lips spread to flash a crooked white grin. My smile is my aesthetic.

I don't spend my time in worry or distress. I move on, quickly. Bad things happen, life keeps going. There's no time to cry.

Hey Jamie!

Awesome job on this bio so far :) In order for me to accept it, however, could you add a little bit more information about his personality? Right now, we understand how he looks and how being an Izar has kind of shaped his life, but I think what we're lacking in is the kind of information that really makes him stand out from a crowd. What is he like? How does he act around other people? If you could add a little bit more describing this, we'll be good to go!
