Appearance:
Asam is an attractive young man. He has strange, pale green eyes set above a straight nose and a mouth rarely drawn into a sincere smile. His face has little extra fat in it from his extensive training in combat, causing his already square jaw to seem even more chiseled.
Asam is tall and muscular, standing at 6’0 and weighing 175 pounds. As a Career, he likes to dress well, and his family is wealthy enough to afford it. His hair is unkempt in a deliberate way, adding to his air of uncaring, but his clothes juxtapose this look and show his more put-together side. In addition, Asam has a few tattoos running up and down his right arm. In all, Asam is a handsome young man.
Personality:
Asam is your typical Career; arrogant, brutish, and cruel. He uses his influence as one of the District’s Careers to throw his weight around and get what he wants; you don’t want to cross him. He likes to think he is one of the best Careers but, of course, everyone does. His outermost deepest desire is to enter the games and win for the glory of his District.
However, Asam is not just the arrogant ass he presents. He has a deep urge to prove himself to his father, who was a Career himself, and to protect his mother and two younger siblings. While he seems arrogant and unapproachable at first, he can laugh sincerely around certain people who worm their way into his heart.
Asam’s weapons specialities include swords and axes. He has no need for ranged weapons, as he doesn’t mind getting up close and personal.
History:
Asam was born to a pair of former Careers. His father went from his Career training into training other Careers himself, then onto training Peacemakers, making a living for himself. Asam was the first of three children and the first to show interest in becoming a Career like his parents. Not that there was any question whether he would.
Asam was always popular at school, learning manipulation was often the best way to get what he wanted out of someone. As a Career, he bought fully into the idea of the Games and has since never questioned whether it is the correct decision for his life.
Now the young man is approaching the time he will volunteer for the Games, and he couldn’t be more excited for his chance to prove to the world that he is unquestionably the best.
