Jango Graves. He was in the games now and there was no turning back. It had come down to Jango, and 23 others. And he had to eliminate everyone of them to win. To return home. To return to Veronica. The only question was how. How? How was he going to win? As he stood in front of several different stations, he debated on which to try. Finally, he settled on hand to hand combat.

It had to be one of the only things he would be good at these games. Perhaps he would try swordfighting later as well. He walked over to the station, but did not get close enough to fight. Just observe. Someone was up fighting now, and Jango just wanted to.. watch. The tribute fighting now, would be an enemy of his. He should take this advantage to study him up now.

Papero Hitomiya

Tan flashes sliced through the air with slowness and clumsiness. Muscles were beginning to resist the stress and new-found types of direction and speed previously not entered into the common exercise registry. A simple punch, a leg-sweep, hook, uppercut, jab, roundhouse, the various actions were unrecognizable to the brain, resulting in an early sweat compared to an expert of hand-to-hand combat.

District 11's male Tribute breathed deeply, denying his body to stop practicing as he thrust more kicks and punches in the air. His posture was stiff and funny. A prickling feeling gave him the advantage of knowing another Tribute was observing him, but he paid no mind until his energy was sapped at a drastic rate.

Heaving, the tan young man stood tall, head tilted down but eyes now fixed on who was watching him. He tried to smile like he was at a party or ball. "May I help you, Sir?"

Daniel Decatur

Daniel watched the sword fighting station from the door. The tribute's sudden movements had caught his eye and he turned all his attention to it now. However something seemed wrong about the tribute's actions. The angles were odd and the numbers just didn't work out right.
Numbers, everything could be calculated- even fighting. Though Daniel knew that most of these tributes probably didn't know that.
The boy stopped his practice and turned to someone who's back was to Daniel. Someone had been watching too.
After trying to coax up enough courage he started his walk to the sword fighting station. He had to have allies. If you don't have allies you don't usually make it very far in the Games. Finding an ally was probably going to be the hardest part of the Games for Daniel. He thought this because even when you're in the Arena you run on instinct. It wasn't Daniel's instinct to talk to someone he didn't know, however it could be part of his nature to kill a person. Surprising how things work out.

The boy at the hand to hand combat station looked about Jango's age. And he was rather impressive, Jango had no doubt he wouldn't be able to match him. In his life he'd only participated in one fight, and he had won, but only because the his opponent wasn't very skilled. The boy turned and asked Jango a question. He was suprised because he didn't know the boy had known that he was standing there watching him.

"Oh no, I was simply watching your form." Jango nodded to the boy above. He felt as though he should say more. Maybe it would beneit him to actually spar against the boy. He would be able to see his technique face to face. "Jango Graves. District six." He said, extending his hand. "Fancy a spar, mate?" ((For some reason he seems to be speaking british xD I think I've been on HP roleplays too long))

The tan Tribute smiled more elegantly as he took Jango's hand and shook. "It's pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mr. Graves of District 6. I am Papero Hitomiya of District 11." He let go. "Ah, just watching my performance, I see. It's still not good enough. But, not to be rude, is it not against the rules for Tributes to spar or fight each other before the Hunger Games begins? It would be awfully bad to get in trouble before going into the Arena, would it not?"

Papero shifted eyes to an increasing noise of footsteps. A brown-haired Tribute was approaching. He smiled to this person as well. "Good morning to you, Sir. I may be jumping to conclusions, but have you been watching me as well?"
