This Time Baby I'll Be Bulletproof [Quest/Assassin Plot]

Fiery redhead seeks casual encounter with woman

who may actually be trying to kill her.

Quest Hertz’s life has been on an upswing ever since she survived the 80th Hunger Games.

She’s turned a dive bar into a semi-reputable establishment. She’s started brewing her own beer and has actually gone ahead and applied for the permits to do so. She’s even started school – yes, she wants to get a degree – and is learning how to be a therapist for other people (check back in on her in a few years to see how that goes).

Of course, true to form, something has to come along to disrupt all of this. Enter: the district thirteen assassin.

What Happens?

Quest receives a mysterious letter detailing conditions in district thirteen, along with a map, left on the doorstep of her bar. True to form, she threw the thing out without giving it a second thought, not bothering to see that it had been signed by Wilfred her dead best friend. Well, alleged dead best friend.

Cue to a night three weeks later, when a young woman will enter her bar, and all hell will break loose.

They’ll travel the districts together, Quest as a semi-hostage, and then (possibly) the two might wind up as a ship together. All in search of a runaway from d13, former d6er, not-dead best friend Wilfred.

Who’s Who?:

Quest Hertz (zori): Former 80th tribute, bar owner, general sass. She and the assassin will broker a deal to help her find Wilfred, and have it so that she’s left to live her life in peace.

The Assassin From District Thirteen: Naming her is up to you. She’s been trained to kill, knows how to get in and out of districts, and tends to blend in with the crowd. She is particularly patient, observant, and grounded. She’s devoted to the cause in thirteen, and has been sent to kill Quest Hertz for having received communications from a runaway. Wilfred: This character will be hiding out in one of the districts, and is encouraged to cross paths with other character (or have crossed paths with other characters) to leave breadcrumbs for Quest in regard to where he is. He’s a lot like Quest, albeit a little bit more mellow. He escaped to district thirteen shortly before the 80th Hunger Games. Unfortunately for him, it was not what he expected at all, and he often questioned the way they did things. After getting pissed off by the leadership he ran off, and is keen on getting in contact with his old best friend. Of course, he now has folks from D13 looking to kill him. Other characters: Folks that Quest & the assassin can cross paths with as they go through districts searching for clues of Wilfred, as well as possible other D13s that would not be thrilled it’s taking so long.

TLDR: I’m looking for someone to play an assassin that turns into a love interest for Quest to go on district hijinks with in search of her former dead best friend. Additional characters may join their hijinks and/or be kidnapped, slapped, or made fun of. Interested parties apply below!
