At the very top deck of the ship, a giant pool about twelve feet deep takes up every inch of floor space. The elevator, like an underwater entrance from dry and safety into the ocean, fills slowly with water before opening into the dimly lit area. Tributes might see some shadowy shapes swimming in the distance - but it's probably just a trick of the light.
As tributes enter the shuffleboard room, they will notice that the ground beneath their feet is slippery; upon inspection, they can also see several giant pucks sitting in the middle of the lane. On either side of the board is a stretch of carpet.
The once lingering smell of food remains in touch with this very room. Aligned with long, empty tables moved parallel from one another, and draped with cloth, though it holds not even a single crumb. Carts once pushed between the empty rows now lay scattered throughout, and not a single soul had touched them for who knows how long?
Stuffed to the sides, around the polished, wooden dance floor, are tables draped in silken white sheets. Curtains elegantly draped before a stage that has been planted within the far wall, while around the center of the room lies a giant, diamond chandelier. Tucked beneath the chandelier is a pyramid of supplies ranging from valuable to useless.
Bottle caps, empty glasses, and poker chips still litter the entire place. It looks a bit run down, with broken slot machines and games to gamble, the screens within the walls of this Bar & Casino are either broken, static, or replay events of previous games. If you look in them carefully, you might just see the last video of yourself.
A kitchen just isn’t made complete without its chefs in charge to cook up a fine cuisine from scratch! Albeit, unfortunately, everyone once upon this cruise ship has left it abandoned, including the chefs. Perhaps, if you’re lucky enough you might find scraps left over. Maybe even leakage from beneath machinery, make sure not to get too close to it though!
