She has never acclimated to the standard of living that has been asked of her. The be quite frank, she never liked to go with the crowd. She had always been full of hate and spite, but not because someone had wrong her. Key word there was someone. The world had never been kind to her, and quite frankly, she hated every part of it.

But that didn’t mean there weren’t people she liked, and while her pale blonde hair had screamed that she might have been a forrester, she never claimed to have any relation to them. Of course, that has all been pretty recent as of late, Vargen still replaying in her mind as she would try to keep her head out of trouble. It never worked as often as she wanted, because she had a weird blue pigment smeared into her hair.

She did not look like someone from District Seven, and she knew that she could probably use that to her advantage.

She had been handy with an Axe, even at a young age. Her father might not have been around all the time, but he was around enough for him to show her how to survive in the world. She was tainted blood and full of cinders. She was set on fire by so many people, but she learned to rise from the ashes. Being burned did not hurt her, nothing really hurt her anymore, because she already knew who she was as a person.

She spent lots of time in the night, roaming the forest and basking in the moonlight. She always appreciated the solace, quite clearly putting everything in that she could muster. She would sit by the mahogany trees and wonder what it would be like if her life was ever normal. She spat at the idea, she did not like being considered mundane.

She had friends. Sisters even, girls that would back her up at any moments notice. She felt powerful because they were also just as powerful. They did not let anyone stop them from doing exactly what they wanted to do. To live. They took care of each other, and if a man had ever crossed their paths that had tried to take advantage? They would find a way to claim their dominance.

They met one night when Dot had gotten herself into trouble at the local saw mill. A party that had gotten just a little too rowdy. They never took Dot seriously, and while she was all bark, she didn’t quite know how to bite just yet. They cornered her, told her that she would never be good enough. Their eyes felt like knives piercing her skin and holding her hostage. But her sisters came to her rescue, told them off, screamed at them, made sure they knew that messing with her, would be messing with them.

We shared a magical night together, one filled with music, and laughter, and drinking. They realized that they had a lot in common, and while it was rare for a band to be formed in a place like seven, they made it work.

They would have too.
