Use of guns in the 89th
Pistols/Rifles (Guns) will feature in the 89th Games with the same rules as the 87th so that hopefully they can be a recurring weapon! (Hopefully one day with their own dice roll)
They are found in the arena and able to be used as weapons. Tributes are able to use these as weapons loaded with up to 6 bullets, with a bullet attributing to one throwing knife.
Thrown Knife rolls will be rewritten to act as bullets, much like the blasters of the 82nd and 87th Games eg. knife in hand equaling to bullet in hand.
Once fired, bullets cannot be recollected. For example: if a tribute rolls 6 times with their gun, their ammo has been fired and cannot be recollected. If they only roll 3 times, they will have 3 bullets left. (This does not include an accuracy re-roll, which still acts as one roll per post).
If a tribute has ammo in their inventory, they can reload their gun with more rounds once their current ammo has been used up. One inventory slot houses a gun + up to 6 bullets. Any extra ammo will take up an inventory slot for every 6 bullets a tribute carries.
TAR CANNOT BE USED WITH GUNS.
Ammo is available in a few areas of the arena. They are not throwing knives by themselves just ammo for guns.
