Every tribute has a breaking point. A moment where their minds push past the point of no return. Pacifists become killers. Killers become monsters. And even the most logical tributes lose all rationale. Saber Bancroft wanted to find these tribute's limits. What more is there to the games than to create stories and find bloodshed to inspire the populace. Panem deserved better storylines and the most thrilling games possible. Saber would make sure they provide. As he stands at the side, a heavy smile pulling at his lips as he calls in the next two into their sparring room.
Storm from Nine is a mixed bag of intrigue. One of the youngest tributes in the games, but clearly has stepped out as an interesting legacy. Between Nowles last games and Fleur before, Adroxis had made a name for themselves as someone to watch. What better way to test that drive than to put the youngest tribute against the largest wall. Derecho from Four is a true career, but also hails from the district that's been blowing every other career district out of the water. Rumors about being overlooked in Four had been told to Saber, but he's interested in seeing how Storm handles the situation before them.
Stepping forward, he lets his voice ring out. "There will be no second chances in this tournament. First one to knock the other down wins." The taste of excitement fills his chest as he steps back. His words continue to drift through the air. "Feel free to pick any weapon you desire. Medical teams will be waiting." There's a certain uneasy tension that always fills the room before a spar. The feeling was electrifying. "Remember, we're watching. Let the match begin!"
