Appearance:

When someone has the opportunity to be beautiful, normally they would try to attain the possible beauty. Brin could easily be beautiful, but she always end up getting in her own way. Despite the obvious fact that she has an extremely thin belly, she still thinks and forces herself to see that she is fat, which she is not. People tend to not notice because she always wears clothes that do not fit her form so others do not see the fat that Brin thinks is not their.

Brin could have the curves that many men find attractive, but she does not eat enough protein for her body to grow out to its full form. Having the legs of a model, she stands at 5'7" though she always appears shorter because she had bad posture. Even though she has above average height, her weight lacks at 104 pounds, due to her anorexia. She still finds that this is too much to weigh, she would much rather be under the hundred pound mark.

Having a heart shaped face that is surprisingly full, Brin could be attractive if she wanted to. Normally she putts on too much eye makeup, trying to hide the fat that she see's on her cheeks, which just makes her look scary. Just like a normal teenager, she has her fair share of acne, specifically in blackheads. Despite this, her tan skin is not oily, it is on the dry side of the spectrum.

Her lips are extremely full and always are just slightly opened showing her large two top teeth. Normally she puts a muted red lipstick on her lips, but their natural color is a muted pink. Yet the only reason that Brin uses lipstick is to distract people from her nose. Being slightly too large for Brin's face, her nose turns slightly down at the end, and to Brin's displeasure, is the main place where she gets acne.

Almond shaped eyes lay just slightly farther apart then one would think they should. Within her two eyes there are light blue hued iris' which pop out against her skin color. Her short eyelashes are always elongated with the application of mascara, while her eyelids seem to always seemed to be adorned with a muted shade of purple, her favorite color. Though mostly straight, her eyebrows curve slightly down one the outside of her face.

Thin strands of wavy hair go down ten inches farther than Brin's shoulders. She has tried many products that claim to be able to thicken up her dirty blonde hair, but those never end up working. Instead of putting her hair up for special occasions, she always has it down and in its natural form.

Diamond earrings are always in both of her ears. She wears them because she thinks that if one wears expensive things then then they will always look better. Even though she thinks this, her Brin's hair always ends up covering her ears, and her earrings too.

Extending from her slight, hunched over shoulders are arms that extend down to just her waist when she stands up straight. In other words, she has short arms. Neither arm has very much muscle, and someone can see many veins on her forearms. Contrasting her short arms, she has fairly long fingers, but all of her nails are bitten down. Any part of her nail that she has not bitten off ends up being hidden under a bright purple color of nail polish.

Though Brin always wears loose tops, she always wears tight, form fitting leggings or tights for bottoms. Durning the colder months of the years, she wears black boots nearly every day, yet during the summer she wears more than one type of shoe. On most days she picks between sandals or heels, but every once in a while she will put on a pair of slippers.


Personality:

As said before, Brin is anorexic, but she also suffers from body dysmorphic disorder (one seeing themselves as ugly for a certain feature, whether thinking oneself is fat while actually skinny, or being ugly while not actually being ugly). Despite the fact that everyone who looks at her can see that she is skinny, she see's herself as fat. Though Brin is happy about herself in many ways, her weight is not one of them. Most of the time she is obsessing over the fact that she is too fat, when in reality she is too thin. Almost always when in conversation she will relate what she is saying back to her weight.

Being stubborn is not this girls greatest characteristic, though she is not stubborn about everything. If someone asks her to do something, even if it is for her own benefit, she will not even attempt to listen to them. She thinks she knows what is best for herself when in reality, she does not. The only time that she will even consider doing something that is not on her agenda is if a friend begs her to listen. Most of the time her friends just do not bother suggesting things to her, since it takes so much effort to get Bring to agree.

As a child Brin had not received much attention as a child, she is very fond of others attention. She likes it when people talk about her, it makes Brin feel that people find her an important person. She also could be described as a wild girl. She enjoys going out to parties every weekend and she does not listen to her parents about things, especially her things about her food intake.

Brin is an extremely talkative person, always sharing her opinion on things, even if that opinion is not exactly nice. Brin believes that if she is being talkative then people will ignore her "fat"; yet she wants their attention because her parents never gave her much. Other people's feelings do not matter to Brin, if she upsets others then it is just too bad for them. On that matter, Brin is a very opinionated person, once she forms her opinion she rarely changes it.

Even though the way she acts may lead people to a different conclusion, Brin genuinely cares about people. If someone is upset she will try to comfort them, though the attempts sometimes end up going wrong. She also does love her friends and family, even though in her mind, loving someone does not mean you have to listen to what they say. In general, Brin has good intentions, but her actions are not exactly those of a perfect child.


History:

Having been born the to the brother of District Two's mayor, Brin has always had relatively easy life when it comes to money. She had been born into one of the richest districts, one that was also a career district (though she is not a career trainee). Her father nor her mother needed to work, but often both would help out Brin's uncle with his job as mayor. This made it so her parents were barely ever around, so she was raised by a caretaker. The caretaker was not the best influence either, all she did was talk about how she wanted to be out partying with her friends and shopping. Since the only influence around her at such a young age was bad one, Brin was never really able to learn the difference between right and wrong.

Around the time that Brin started school at the age of five, her parents broke the news that they were having another child. Even though Brin was just five, she wondered if her parents thought that she was not good enough and they wanted to have a better child. She hoped that what she thought was not true but it kept coming to the forefront of her mind. One night she burst out crying at the dinner table, her parents asked her what was wrong and she told them. Even though her parents told Brin that she was an amazing little girl, she still doubted them. Why would they need to have another child if she was as amazing as they said, wouldn't they be happy with just having her.

Once her younger brother was born Brin's parents spent more time at home, and even though it was to take care of their newborn son, Brin got a lot more attention from them than she was used to. She realized that her parents did actually love her, but she still thought that they loved their new child a whole lot more. Even though he had brought Brin a lot more attention (though it still was not very much), he was getting a lot more attention than she was. It upset her, but she did not cry out like she did while her mother was pregnant, this time she kept the doubt to herself.

As she got older popularity was never an important factor for Brin, but it she always has had a good amount of friends. Most of those friends have been the same people since her days in elementary school. All of those girls she thinks of as sisters, despite the fact that they are not actually blood related. Of course, she gets into fights with these girls just like siblings and best friends do, but these always end up getting resolved.

On the topic of friends, Brin has never actually been in a relationship with a guy, though she has kissed her fare share of them. It is not that she does not try to get guys to like her, but she is just so self-centered that nobody would ever want to be in a relationship with her. Everything is always about what Brin wants, even though she does not have to be the center of attention, she wants people to spend time with her because her parents never did.

When Brin hit puberty she —just like many girls do— gained a little bit of weight, this was the start of her anorexia. Once she saw that she was overweight the thought of her slightly chubby belly always stood in the forefront of Brin's mind. Whenever she looked at her stomach she always saw the slight chub that she had around the age of thirteen. Even if her friends tell her that they worry about her being too skinny, she tells them to stop trying to make her feel better.

The teachers have always tried to ask Brin why she was so skinny, they all knew that she was more than wealthy enough to eat, but just like her usual non-listening self, Brin told them that she was perfectly fine. This was when her hair started to thin out, as she was not intaking enough food to survive. If they did not see her eating habits, someone could be convinced that she had just grown too quickly and that she would fill out, but this was not the case. Brin barely ate anything for breakfast, skipped lunch, and had a minute serving of food for dinner.
