Personality:
Chimere is a behemoth in size, standing at a mammoth 6'5, which is only made to look bigger by his defining muscle structure, particularly at the chest and shoulders. He's heavy too, mainly due to his size and bulk. Despite his large frame, he is malnourished, his pale skin is an unhealthy white and his ribs are vaguely visible when his mid-section is bare.
His hair is a chocolate brown that sits a small patch atop his head. It is curly and unmanageable, which can get annoying for Chimere. He shows signs of stubble, a boy nearing manhood. His eyes are a faded grey, eyes that have seen too much too soon. He often stares meaninglessly, giving him the look of a ponderer. He is definitely not as wise as he looks.
Chimere wears a variety of clothes, most often his work clothes; A light brown shirt, ragged denims and black boots. He will stay in his work attire for the rest of the day afterwards, but on his days off he likes to wear comfortable slacks and wool jumpers.
Chimere is very selfless, very hardworking and very simple. Deriving from his work-ethic that allowed him to support his family of five, he is always a giver and never a taker. This isn't to say that he is boring, he's actually a very interesting character in that socially he is quirky, fun and generally cheerful.History:
Yet he can be very opinionated. There is only so much of Chimere that one can take, for he never seems to stop smiling and his opinions are pretty much always voiced. Irritable if taken in high doses, that is Chimere. He has strong views on people who don't work hard, as well as a dislike for the Capitol and people of high status. He also has a major problem with insects.
Chimere enjoys working, and in his spare time is an avid fan of novels. He owns one or two pre-uprising books that are barely readable, but very interesting in giving him an insight to how people lived their lives before the Games. Chimere dislikes slackers, or anyone who is just plain rude. He also dislikes alcohol and those who strongly associate themselves with it. He is, all in all, someone who sees himself as a just and strong character, but really is somewhat of a kissass.
Born the second child of the Acerus family, it was always evident that Chimere was going to grow up to be a large, bulky workman. His father was a farmhand, and as soon as Chimere could hold a plow he was plowing. His physical size allowed him to reap more than other workers, thus his wage is usually more.Codeword: Odair
Chimere's sister Abetha was born three years before him, and his brother Bloeve was born four years after him. It's natural that Bloeve always looked up to Chimere, but he discouraged his little brother from working too hard. Despite being the middle child, Chimere has always looked and acted the oldest. He provided for the family for many years and contributed more to survival than Abetha ever did. Perhaps this was because he is male, and Abetha is not... Her job was a lot less rewarding.
On a side note, Chimere has always been passionate for cheese. This sparked from cheese being a luxury that was rewarded to him from his father for working so hard and bringing so much into the family. Chimere loved it, and was convinced that investing in a goat or a sheep would greatly increase their lifestyle. So, Chimere saved up for a goat, from which he produced cheese and wool.
Chimere's father has always been proud of him, especially because he's a hardworking individual who has carried the family more or less single-handedly for eighteen years. The relationship between any one of the Acerus' and Chimere is very strong indeed.
