[/i] She says and then, as if suddenly, a shrill sound breaks the silence. Everything shatters. The black and white forest around the girl emanates a fairy tale-like aura with only a faint glow of light to make it visible. With the dead leaves crinkling beneath her bare feet and the soft moist soil supporting all her weight, she feels nothing but lightweight. This is the place where she wants to be in, the place where she is separated from all things unfair and untrustworthy. This place, especially, is where she could reach a sense of calm she could never be in on the world her body's in right now. This is my world.
Waking in a very irritating and very uncomfortable way, Sphene pushes her blankets to the side of the bed. She then glares at the ringing object standing atop her bedside table, the very object that had shattered her calm. Her ever-so-loud alarm clock. The bronze colored metal plated object rang and rang until she had enough of it's deafening noise. She picked it up and said, "Couldn't you NOT try and ruin my dream? Not even once?!" She said it as loud as she dared. What? the girl had enough of her silly clock's interventions with the greatest dreams she's ever had... Her father had left early for work, and she knew that, the only thing she'd have to worry about are her neighbors and the passer-by's who were within hearing range of her ridiculous outburst.
Moving as fast as she could, Sphene bathed and dressed and ate for only a short amount of time. She was very skilled at mulitasking and at rushing, considering that she was running late for her training lessons. Again. And as soon as she finished everything that has to be taken care of, she bolts out the door and locks it immediately, pockets the key and runs off with speed caused only by her adrenaline rush. Oh crap! Please don't let me be late. Don't let me be late. Don't let me be late~ She chanted it over and over until she reached the training grounds.
She never thought that sighing could unleash such a large amount of relief before, but it did. If she was late today chances are she's going to get punished more by doing twice the number of punishments. It's because she's more often late than not, and it's something she couldn't avoid doing. It's kinda been a hobby for her. Plus, the coach has been really hot on her these days. I guess she's had enough of me and my tardiness, huh? She smirked continued to walk. Well, it's a good thing I'm not late now. And just as she turns to look for her circle of friends
OOC: my first post written in third person. Sorry, it's not much D:
